Secret Identities Revealed

As most of you saw in Jack-Jack Attack, Kari saw Jack-Jack demonstrate his Powers, After the incident and the interrogation with Mr. Rick Dicker, Kari got her memory erased.

My topic is about what would happen if someone found out about a Supers secret identity? For the person who found out, the process goes as follows. Interrogation and then memory erased. How much of the person’s memory gets erased? We know it can be strong enough to make her forget about the incident, but can it be powerful enough to make him/her forget their friends?

For the SUpers, it is a different story. But it seems that the only bad thing about having a Super’s identity revealed would be the relocation. My question would be how far would the be relocated? Do they just move to another Block? City? State? Country? contenent? How would the SUpers feel? HOw would their family and friends feel if they found out about the relocation?

Your thoughts? Contributions are greatly accepted. This is just a steping stone for a new fanfic I am thinking of right now.

I suppose that enough mind-wipes can cause brain damage or something, just as Will Smith’s character suggested in Men in Black …

I always wondered … what would happen if someone found out and wasn’t caught to have their memory erased? If they managed to sneak past having that done, they could let it out to the media, and the media could broadcast it … then what? Mind-wipe the entire city? That’d probably be a lot of work …

Just thinking aloud. That’s a good idea for a fanfic, I think. If only I had the energy, I’d elaborate on it.

i think that supers could move across town and be fine…

THere is a hidden deleted scene in the Incredibles website where Rick uses his memory-erasing tool on Huph. Huph is pretty resistant, until Rick seemingly puts it on full power.

If you saw in the movie, Bob’s unwillingness to let go of the glory days has made his family move several times. But here is a big one: from Municiber to Metroville, which, with evidentical research to back it up, it isn’t that far apart.

where is that…the secret site.

Just go to the Incredibles wevsite, click on “Enter the Secret Site” and there should be a tab that says “exclusive deleted scene” or something.

i think i’ve seen that before…rather weird for my tastes.

But as you saw, Huph’s memory was alittle troublesome for Rick to erase.

Hmm, well, concerning the memory erasing thing, I guess it would obviously have to work enough that it actually erases all memories that the person has of the Super, but suspicions might be aroused if this person also forgot other things like who their friends and family were, and where they work and stuff like that.

And with the Supers relocating, I wouldn’t be surprised if they had to move at least a certain distance away, so there would be very little chance of them moving to a place where they might bump into a lot of people they already know.

I wonder if it was common knowledge that, if a Super were to be found out, they would be relocated? Because if the general public knew that this would happen to a Super, then if a family like the Parrs keeps seeming to relocate all the time, although they might say it’s because of other stuff, I wouldn’t be surprised if that would make their friends a bit suspicious as to why they’re moving in the first place. They might end up assuming that they’re Supers simply because they’ve moved (especially if they’ve moved quite a few times).

What about that little boy on the tricycle (what’s his name?) that saw Mr. Incredible lift the car? Did he get his memory erased, I wonder?

Another problem could be if someone found out and told someone else who told someone else and so on, but only one of those people lose their memory. Not to mention, if they erased the wrong memory.

This is an interesting topic. Surely someone else in the neighborhood saw the Parrs’ house blow up?

The people that saw the house blow up probably though it was a gas line explosion rather then a villians ship blowing up in it.

BDD:

He might have. I don’t know. I would think the NSA would just let it go. He is a young kid. If he tells his parents, they might think he is just being funny, like most young boys are when they tell silly stories…

BTW: His name is Rusty.

Rusty did. I doubt anyone else did. BUt after hearing the loud explosion, I think they would’ve wanted some answers.

Do you think Lucius’ wife knows that he is Frozone? She was the one who kept his suit so that he would go for a dinner with her.

Well, Lucius managed to get his suit…

I believe that Honey Best knew thather husband was a Super. She tells him not to go “running off doing no derrin’-do!” Frozone also asked her where his super suit was. If Honey knows about his super suit, we can assume that she knows that he is a super.

Honey’s not a super, is she? Otherwise we would’ve seen her in action with Frozone.

No, I don’t think Honey isn’t a Super.

I wonder if Frozone meets Jack-Jack. The ice power versus the fire power. :stuck_out_tongue:

Frozone’s ice melted,
Jack-Jack’s fire extinguished.

According to the NSA files on the 2nd DVD, Frozone had a little bit of a relationship with Blazestone, who possesed fire powers.

I wonder whether The Incredibles, Frozone, and maybe Edna are the only supers left (still survive) in the world. The others never show up in action in the movie.

I would imagine that there would be more Super Heroes in the world that are still alive. If the Incredibles and Frozone were the only Supers in the world, don’t you know how chaotic that would be?
