Crood Awakening? Someone at Dreamworks needs to get their spellchecker out…
gah! Shrek…FIVE!!!
oh man! Dreamworks just does not know when to stop!
Shrek one and two were awesome I enjoyed both of them, but shrek three was awful! When my friends and I saw shrek 3 I wanted to leave during the middle of it!
ugh…
Now I am just so bored of shrek I don’t even WANT to watch one or two any more. It lost all its charm because it became such a franchize.
Yeah, but Jeffrey Katzenburg said that after the fifth, the series was over. Which is a good thing for all you Shrek haters, but bad for me
Agreed that Shrek 1 & 2 were pretty great but the 3rd was terrible…I am not a Shrek hater by any means, but too many sequels kills a good franchise, no? Although, I’ll admit, I like Pus sin Boots so I’d be interested in his spin-off movie. But sequelmania at Dreamworks has to stop - they’ve got to have new ideas for movies coming!
6 movies in 2010 to 2011? Ridiculous.
Yes, starting with 2010 they’ll release three movies a year.
Wow three movies a year?
Surely with 3 movies a year the animation and story quality would drop? (umm, more…)
How many people does Dreamworks employ to write and animate?

I don’t know how many are animatiors but Dreamworks Animations has about 1700 employees vs. Pixar’s 850.
I’m actually rather excited for a sequel to Kung Fu Panda, since there’s still more they can do with the story. The Furious Five and Po’s relationship with them was left severely underdeveloped in the first movie (which was good, because it was more important for Po to bond with Shifu first), so my hope is the sequel will develop those two things. As long as they remember what made the first movie great, I’m satisfied.
As for Shrek the Third, I can’t TOTALLY hate it, because it did have Eric Idle as Merlin. Monty Python FTW!
I watched Shrek the Third last night. It was actually not as bad as I remember it being. But some of it was you have to admit pretty crappy. coughthehighschoolcough. I would probably give it a 6.4/10
Oh, and I guess the fourth one will be good.
coughthehighschoolcough.
Yeah, the high school scenes arn’t, well, the best.
NO MORE SHREK SEQUELS!!!
“Shrek the Third” sucked! Who’s with me?
I!
First one was good. But Dreamworks is filling the Shrek series with celebrity names, corny lines, and bad plots now.
10 Shrek’s? I’m glad there making a Shrek 4, BUT 10? I think 4 is plenty! I also think Shrek 3 was ok, I guess.

Wow, you’re not one for sarcasm.
i liked the 1st and 2nd,the 3rd disappointed me i hope they make the next one better.
Five Shrek movies (including the one centred around Puss in Boots) is indeed fairly ridiculous. I honestly believe they should have just stopped after Shrek 2…heck, even Shrek 2 wasn’t really as good as the first.
(Although, Shrek the Halls wasn’t bad…)
You’ve GOT to kidding,that looks
as Oprah would say
“Shrek FOREVVVERRRR After looks HORRRIIIBBBLLLEEEEE!”
But hey its only a teaser.
Wow, that trailer was absolutely terrible! Not even remotely funny. I haven’t seen the third yet, but is it as terrible as this? First one was funny, 2nd one was just ok.
Also, after all these years, I still think it is ridiculous that Shrek won the oscar over Monsters Inc.
I found That Shrek 4 looks like a “what if” situation of the first 3 (I never saw the 3rd one) like what if Shrek never met Fiona, What If Donkey never met Shrek so on. . .
