Oh I do hope their
are more Canadians in the audience interested in this. I’d like to see the Canadians have at it. Any British
volunteers to go next with their thoughts on Mr. Brown?
From an outsider’s perspective though (note: I do
have a little knowledge since my grandfather’s best friend was the son of fmr. PM Jean-Paul St. Laurent and he
was close to the PM as well in his later years so I’ve heard stories from and been taught by knowledgable
sources), I would say that the current Canadian-American relationship, while friendly, is not a master-servant
one as the Canadians are not nearly as involved as we would have them be. As far as internal policies both
foreign and domestic are concerned that’s not my place to critique nor am I qualified to.

You know you could almost have an
australian political debate however I think most australians are now seeming to agree on the fact that Johnny
needs to go.

Aggie:
I am a
Conservative, and do support Stephen Harper. The conservative party only has a minority government over Canada,
but I’m glad the Liberals lost power because their party was corrupt and did nothing for our country. Liberals
like to refer to Harper as “Bush’s lacky” and stuff like that, because they think the two are so much
alike… and Canadians just don’t want to be like America. I disagree with this… but… well… I’ll only go
full throttle if there are other Canadians who are willing to debate.
Ya I am a
conservative too, although my parents vote liberal.

That’s cool. My parents are conservative, so I’d be lying if I were to say
that I didn’t feed from their POV, but I definitely did what all Canadians should do: research before they
vote.

I know I what him to go! I did the last election, too. Hopefully
this time 'round more people will agree.
Speaking of politics, Tony Blair is no longer prime minister of England and Gordon Brown is
replacing him, as of today. Scary…

Guys… maybe we should just leave this as a Sicko thread and make a POLITICS thread should we continue this sort of discussion.
I don’t know if you heard about it,but I’ve been reading a lot about piracy concerning Sicko. Makes me want to puke, especially concerning Google who didn’t delete it right away.
