This is great news. It’s probably going to be broadcast in high definition if anybody has access to high definition signals. I’ll finally have something good to watch on TV!

It’s tempting, but I’m trying my best to see as little of Wall-E as possible before it’s released, so that when I see it properly for the first time, it’ll be a really amazing and surprising experience as opposed to knowing what’s going to happen next.
Get out! I’m gonna watch it…!

As a side note, my sister and I watched a new trail of WALL-E clips profiled by Andrew Stanton and the Disney Movie Surfers crew on the Disney Channel a couple of nights ago. The behind-the-scenes featurette mainly focused on the character of “MO”, a little cleaner robot who despises anything filthy and littered. One of the clips shown included this one:
[spoil]After detecting a trail of unwanted filth running off into the depths of the Axiom, MO ventures to discover the source of the devilish mess and runs upon WALL-E, the latter of whom is covered from head to toe in filth from all those years of cleaning up Earth’s waste deposits. Disgusted, MO makes to clean off any dirt on and made by WALL-E. However, the devious little earth-class robot seems to find MO’s good intentions to be rather humorous. Picking up a tire, WALL-E touches a clean bit of space on the floor and causes a dirty mark to appear there in the process. MO quickly cleans off the muck, only to be marked in the face by another of WALL-E’s filthy tires.[/spoil]

Disney Channel will also premier a Movie Surfers WALL-E sneak peek this Saturday, I hope they’re at different times so I can watch both!!
Aww, I can’t see Nemo and WALL-E preview on Saturday, as I’ll be out of town.
Anyway, has anybody seen the new TV spot? It’s got a lot of big explosions and chase scenes packed together in 30 seconds, with WALL-E playing with a basketball at the end. I’m trying to find it online, but it’s not happening. Hopefully they’ll play it this Saturday with Nemo!

It makes me really nervous that at 8:55 Movie Surfers are showing a WALL-E sneak peek and ABC is showing a WALL-E sneek peek the same day at an unspecified time. I wnat to see them both, so I’m hoping they are spaced out.
P.S. I just recently viewed the TV spot. My sister asked me who John Ratzenberger was, and so I started rambling…
What time is it over there? Im guessing Europe is about 6 hours “foreward”. So this will air in about 6 - 8 hours, right?
Is someone setting up a recording device (lol @ English skills), so that the others (who are not from the US) can watch it, too? That would be very nice from that person.

I just saw it, it was actually all of the WALL-E vignettes (with two new ones) hosted by John Ratzenberger in between commercials, and last but not least a clip from WALL-E, and from seeing that, I can definately say the “no dialogue” works PERFECT!

Yup, it’s brand new, I wouldn’t want to spoil it, but what the heck, it’s a whole scene so BEWARE!!
EVE is telling WALL-E to board the escape pod to Earth, WALL-E refuses, funny moments, and basically it leads to the fire extinguisher scene…
It’s a pretty long scene.[spoil].Eve is trying to send him back to earth, but he wants her to come. you can see he is craving to hold her hand and before he gets the chance he goes in and sits down inside the pod. Eve has it set back to Earth and he’s all kinds of excited until he notices she isn’t going to be coming home with him. It’s quite funny when he comes back into the big ship and goes into box form…sort of like a turtle. So they hide because they hear someone or something coming. A robot comes in with a boot and an actual planet. Wall E goes into the pod since he gets so excited to see a planet and Eve yells out to him. the pod is shot off and she goes after him. …

Thanks for explaining, martini and Newt. I won’t read the spoilers now since I don’t want to know too much about the story (like I did with Ratatouille), but I bet if a video hits the Internet I won’t be able to resist. Heh.
Yeah, I’m trying my best not to read spoilers (and succeeding) unlike with Ratatouille!!
OH MY GOSH. THAT WAS EPIC. THAT WAS AWESOME. THIS IS GONNA BE INCREDIBLE. 
Both my obsessed friends missed it, and I told them all about the awesome clip of wonderfulness. I’ll share what I told them with you guys too. Now, I was kinda awestruck, so I may have a few events a little wrong, but nothing major hopefully. Just don’t kill me if yo see the movie and “OH MAH GOSH SHE FORGOT THIS MOVEMENT D:” I would consider this moderate spoiler. Like newt said, it’s pretty long, and what could be a major important plot point is brought up in it. At least, it felt that way. When I typed it up, I realized how much happened in what could not have been more that 5 minutes. Incredible writing right there.
[spoiler]EVE and WALL-E are aboard the Axiom, and EVE seems incredibly peeved. They both head into this room with an escape pod and controls for it. EVE works the controls. WALL-E notices EVE’s arm wing thing has become more hand like, the end being separated into a few fingers. He puts his own hands together like he did in the trailer when he was watching the sappy romance movie. It kinda has this whole “I wish I could hold her hand” thing going for it IMO.
So they the escape pod hatch opens, and peeved as can be EVE points to the pod entrance, looks at WALL-E, an says “Earth” sternly. So she CAN talk. She’s just a bot of few words. WALL-E does not seem to get it, so she points to a picture of Earth on a screen an repeats her phrase. She looks serious and annoyed throughout all of this. So he goes into the pod and sits down, and pats the seat next to him motioning EVE to sit next to him, not getting the message that she is not coming with him. EVE makes it clear she is not. I don’t remember if she shook her head no or just went back to the controls, bu either way,
WALL-E now gets that she is not coming and leaves the pod. EVE makes him go back in. He leaves again. I think this happens twice before WALL-E comes out, stands in front of EVE, an stubbornly goes into cube mode. She just sighs and shakes her head with this “you’re impossible” look “WALL-E…” she says annoyed and she picks up his cube form and puts him back in the pod. Well, I’m not sure if she got him in or was stopped by this, but somebody is heard heading their way. EVE immediately turns off all the equipment and goes into a corner and looks as deactivated as possible. WALL-E follows her example, going into cube mode.
A little bot I haven’t seen before comes in. It’s about M-O’s size and kinda sounds like him, but it’s not M-O. He turns back on the stuff and puts a plant that’s growing in a boot into the escape pod, starts the launch sequence, and leaves. Once he’s gone, our heroes peek at the plant. “Plant!” EVE says kinda shocked. WALL-E goes in the pod, grabs it, and says EVE’s name about to give it to her like a present. But before he can, the escape pod doors close and launch happens with him inside. Suddenly, EVE doesn’t like him being in the escape pod too much. She tries to open the hatch to follow him. Cue the well known “You are now free to move about the cabin” moment from the trailer.
WALL-E goes into a panic, pressing buttons to get the thing to stop… and sets off he self destruct. It starts counting down from 20. He frantically presses buttons and several things activate including a parachute, life raft, windshield wipers (yes, windshield wipers XDDDD), etc. He gives up, grabs the fire extinguisher, an starts prying at the door. EVE gets outside the Axiom and is chasing after the escape pod.
The escape pod soon explodes.
Silence for a moment.
EVE gets this absolutely devastated look on her face. She looks like she’d be on the brink of tears if she was human. “Nonononononono…”
Then something comes into her view. WALL-E flies past her using the fire extinguisher. Despite not having the plant with him as far as I could see, she still seems very happy to see him. So much for her suddenly being annoyed about him leaving only because he has the plant with him. She chases after him with reckless abandon. He turns around to head back towards her. They are both moving too fast and pass one another by a long shot. So he turns around AGAIN and heads back towards her more slowly. EVE just waits for him to come to her this time, still looking incredibly happy. He stops himself with one spray of the extinguisher in the other direction, facing EVE. Some of the spray hits her and she giggles, brushing it away kinda playfully. The clip ends here.[/spoiler]
And then, Netbug falls back on her bean bag, yells “THIS IS GONNA BE SO AWESOME”, and hurts the ears of those around her.
