Rapunzel looks surprisingly very attractive and sexy sitting in that position (and it kind of looks like she’s going to seduce Flynn coughs).
But anyway, if this is how the final visual style of the film looks like, then I’m seriously impressed. It looks so lush, so vibrant, and just so beautiful! <3
Pizza Planet Truck, you had me scared and anxious for a second. I actually thought that was the newer trailer, lmfao. But yeah, that was already posted here a while ago. Thanks though!
Nah, she has that seductive look on her face, if you notice. It’s more like she’s extremely eager to hoist him up and do some, erm… adult-related things with him.
LOL there’s not much about the movie to talk about right now though. Not unless Disney shows us new footages and scenes. But yeah I agree with you, this is fun! XD
And surprisingly enough, I checked Facebook and Disney updated again with another new concept art!
When I was at Walt Disney World last week, I took several photos of concept art and various images from Tangled on display
at the Art of Animation in Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
I will post some of the best photos, and then also a link to the entire album. I’m sorry about the quality; many of the pictures
I took photos of were behind glass. I hope some of these are new to you all.
love70ways: Oh my God, that is SO awesome! Man, I really need to get to Disneyworld again.
But anyway, I love all the pictures with Flynn and Rapunzel. So romantic. ^^
But one thing that confuses me: In the original story, the witch takes her because her father stole the Rapunzel plant from the witch’s garden to feed her mother. The witch then names the girl after the plant, Rapunzel. Are they going to address this at all in the movie? Or is she just going to have the name Rapunzel?
Rac_Rules- I remember in the album Danachii posted of all the concept art included a story book that told the story of the beginning of the film. I’m pretty sure xD I forget what it said exactly but I think it wasn’t exactly the same as the original fairy tale.
There’s a gap in the freeway! It’s fifty feet! Laugh out loud, Maximus is doing a ‘Spirit’ jump across a canyon there.
Thanks for sharing the pics, love70ways! You’re so lucky to have been to DisneyWorld! I wonder why there are Vikings in some of the art… maybe Stoick and company gatecrashed the movie?
This isn’t really an update, but I had a Tangled sighting! There was a poster at the movie theater when I went yesterday. That means it’s coming soon!!
Oh wow, nice pictures love70ways! They remind me of the ones I posted in another album a couple of pages back, with the exception of some of the new ones I didn’t see in there before, like the storyboard version of Flynn and Rapunzel’s first meeting. Great photos!
Yes, that’s Disney’s version of Mother Gothel. She was also the antagonist in the original Rapunzel fairy tale too, and I must say I’m rather excited on Disney’s portrayal of her character. I heard from one early reviewer saying that she’s definitely one badass villain.
From reading early reviews and seeing official photos posted from the Tangled display over at Walt Disney World, there’s a chance that they will address it in the movie, except Disney put a whole new spin on the whole plant thing, making it so that [spoil]Rapunzel’s hair has magical abilities or something like that, idk[/spoil]. We’ll just have to wait and see.
How cool! I wonder if the Silvercity Theatre right next to my house has a Tangled poster too. Now I want to go and check and see if it has it or not, lol.
I’m not 100% sure about how to feel on this one at the moment. At first, I was really disappointed by the Shrek-style “fairy tale gone haywire” approach to the story, but the more I’m seeing of it (especially of the heroine) I think the more I’m convinced Disney can pull it off while still feeling like Disney. Probably the main reason I was so concerned was because of The Princess and the Frog and how that movie was exactly how Disney should be, whereas this looked like a step in the opposite direction. But especially with the concept art (thanks to love70ways for posting some!), I get a Disney-vibe. I thinkI’ll like it a lot more than the trailers make me think, and I’ll definitely try to catch it in theatres when it releases.
