Do you not like dark hair, IncredigirlVirginia?
Not in a partner. For some reason, I think women look good with brown or red hair, men yellow or red. Don’t search me for logic; you will find Autism!!
Haha, it’s understandable! I’m also Autistic!
That’s weird, because I like guys with dark hair best. I guess I’ll like all the guys you don’t. XD
I’m not 100% sure about how to feel on this one at the moment. At first, I was really disappointed by the Shrek-style “fairy tale gone haywire” approach to the story, but the more I’m seeing of it (especially of the heroine) I think the more I’m convinced Disney can pull it off while still feeling like Disney. Probably the main reason I was so concerned was because of The Princess and the Frog and how that movie was exactly how Disney should be, whereas this looked like a step in the opposite direction. But especially with the concept art (thanks to love70ways for posting some!), I get a Disney-vibe. I thinkI’ll like it a lot more than the trailers make me think, and I’ll definitely try to catch it in theatres when it releases.
Its not a fairy tale gone haywire anyway, at least from what I heard. Its being marketed as such, but all of the sources I’ve read say that it is actually a strait-up fairy tale film. ^^
Oh really?! Well then, maybe I’m looking forward to it even more!
Plus, I know Alan Menken is doing the score… that definitely makes me excited
Yes, an Alan Menken score should be very exciting!
His hair was always light to me.
I can’t wait until they release the soundtrack.
But since they haven’t even released a new trailer…
I want to see another trailer for this- it looks like it could be good!
Haha, it’s understandable! I’m also Autistic!
You’re Autistic?? Cool!! high-five
I’ve been really bored lately so I’m making Rapunzel’s dress for one of my old Barbies. It’s going pretty well.
Hey, does anyone know what program they’re using to animate Tangled?
Holy BnL Burger on a goshdarn stick! Rapunzel is smokin’! I like Flynn, Maximus and Pascal’s poses too. This is beyond awesome, Danachii.
Totally agreed. So far all the images that Disney released of Rapunzel makes her look more cute than beautiful, but this image definitely makes her extremely attractive. And it’s funny how the directors of this movie are trying to make Flynn the hot one, but Rapunzel is A LOT more hotter and sexier to me, which is weird because I’m a straight female lol :X not to say that Flynn isn’t cute (he’s also sexy too, I admit it. <3)
I can see how Flynn is attractive to you, but his hair is too…dark.
Actually, his hair is more brown-ish and brunette than dark if you pay close attention. It’s just that the video game poster I posted made him have too much shadow so it appears dark, lol.
In other news, facebook updated again with a brand new concept art!
Few have seen the hidden tower’s interior, but on this stop of the Tangled Tour, we see some of the custom wall paintings that its mysterious tenant created throughout her years spent locked away.
I don’t like brown on dudes, either. That’s still dark. I’m a hair Racist!!! No, I’m just reeeeally picky. But I agree, Rapunzel looks nice.
Rapunzel’s design I wasn’t impressed by when I first saw her, but now I like it Maybe she was reminding me too much of the CG Barbie movies at first, but I think it’s actually pretty original and different from the other blonde Disney princesses.

THAT’s exactly what I was thinking when I first saw the teasers! Hopefully Disney will make it distinctive enough from the Barbie movies.

Ah-hyuk, yeah! I think Rapunzel has to be the most attractive female protagonist Disney’s made since Ariel! And she’s got freckles! She’s most definitely the spunkiest ever, more than Tiana, IMHO.
I can’t wait until they release the soundtrack.
But since they haven’t even released a new trailer…
I promise you won’t have to wait too much longer for that!
In the meantime, the lovely Mandy Moore did an interview with MTV. Read what she has to say about the movie’s title, working with Alan Menken and Zachary Levi singing here!
Sorry I have been MIA everyone, but it’s nice to read all your opinions about the movie!
That’s okay, DM, we have people randomly disappear all the time. I’m interested in that trailer… I can’t wait.
Wow, I haven’t been on the boards FOREVAR. I feel like such a bad member

YAY! Something other than concept art! (don’t get me wrong- it’s gorgeus, I’m just getting tired of that being the only thing that they’ve been giving us for the past few weeks.) I feel like I’ve read it somewhere before though… weird.

got this from [i:l4jbkh3m]Tangled[/i:l4jbkh3m]'s facebook page I even got a tear in my eye reading that quote. I’m already so emotionally attached to this film and it’s not even coming out for another 2 months :'D Oh Disney, you little sucker you! a little bit off topic, but I watched [i:l4jbkh3m]A Walk to Remember[/i:l4jbkh3m] solely because Mandy was in it, and I gotta say, She was pretty darn amazing! I really feel like she definitely deserves this role, and I can’t wait to see what she does with it! 83 more dayyss!
Oh my gosh, that concept art feels so… 50’s. I think Mary Blair would be proud to know future Disney artists are able to carry on the spirit of her works but in their own, unique way.
(Sorry… huge Blair fan here.)
