Tangled

Sorry for the double post guys, but I just had to post this!

It’s a video made by the staff at Walt Disney Animation using the end song of tangled. It gives a really awesome inside look to the people that work there, and the building itself!

It’s a must see

Yeah, although don’t you suppose him being gone would really be like a major slap in the face to Rapunzel as opposed to him breaking her promise?
Although it’s also very possible Flynn didn’t know that as well.

And as 4 the video, continuous shots are always impressive

I love Glen Keane singing at 2:08 xD

I liked that part and the poor guy sitting in a pile of hair!

^^ omg~ YDD i so love that video! its so cute!! I wanna work there :`-(

Wow, this is a long thread already.
Wasn’t expecting much from Tangled, especially knowing the film’s history (major re-dos and re-writes) but I finally went to see it the other day, and actually enjoyed it much more than I thought I would. Especially considering the last couple of years of Disney fare (and what looks, from the previews, to be a terrible Gnomeo & Juliet coming soon). I was pretty impressed. They managed to sneak in some "hip"per lines but didn’t cross the line the way I feel Dreamworks does all too often. Surprisingly, a good, solid piece of entertainment.

Gnomeo & Juliet won’t be Disney (but apperently it was a movie Disney was considering doing, if the rumors I read are true) I’m glad you enjoyed the movie!

Gnomeo & Juliet isn’t a Disney movie. It was originally brought up at Disney as a joke, but it never made it in production. Then some obscure animation studio took the idea and made it into a movie. I don’t know what studio it is though.

Anyway, I went and saw Tangled again for the third time today. I originally didn’t want to see it because I already saw it twice, but my friend recently lost her dog (he had to be put to sleep because he was suffering from a tumor), and she really needed an uplifting movie to keep her mind distracted, and Tangled really is a perfect uplifting movie for something like that. The movie experience this time for me (and for my friend too) was absolutely horrible. We ended up missing the first ten minutes of the movie. It was fine for me because I’ve already seen it before, but not for my friend. Which sucks because I really wanted her to see it from the beginning and really enjoy herself without anything bothering her, it was a completely horrible movie experience. Full of obnoxious teenagers who kept talking and flashing their cellphones & other electronic devices everywhere and annoying children who just wouldn’t shut up. Plus there was this one brat behind me who kept kicking my chair, so we ended up switching seats at least three times during the movie, which made my friend miss the best parts in it.

My friend keeps insisting that she had a really great time and the movie really helped her with her stress, and I’m it did, really. But still… I wish her first experience with this film was better than this. :\

I’m really sorry to hear that Danachii… I hope your friend is feeling a little better though.
-3- people always give me dirty looks when i go see a kids movie (even though i still look like I’m twelve or something -this town has no respect for people-) The teenagers in my town usually only go watch a kids movie so they can “do stuff” -.- if you get what i mean. It really horrible because they go to kids movies so they wont miss out on good movies == but it sickens me because they are doing such things in a kids movie == so i understand where your coming from when it comes to annoying teenagers and their stupid texting addictions =.= YD I’ve also taken care of a lot of little ones in the past so kids acting crazy in movies (or in general) doesn’t really bother me but i know how it can effect other people YD that’s just bad thing about watching kids movies YD you gatta watch it with them too

Gnomeo & Juliet might be Dreamworks or something. I looked it up after i saw it on here and it doesn’t look all that great YD the only good thing i think is that their cute looking YD other than that i personally wouldn’t go watch it

Did anyone think that Flynn and Rapunzel’s [spoil]first kiss[/spoil] was kinda passionate for a disney movie? <img src=“{SMILIES_PATH}/youwhaaa.gif” alt=“o_0;;” title="You

Whaaa…" /> I mean cause when I saw it I was like wow…

I saw the movie today online. I am so sorry, the movie comes here in February and i really wanted to watch it in english

I loved the movie.

I just loved the emotional impact some scene had [spoil]i was really tense at the scene when Rapunzel and Flynn almost die drowned, and sometimes i almost cried (Just seeing how desesperated Rapunzel´s parents were left me so sad  [/spoil]

I wish that Pascal and Maximus had more screentime, i mean, i think they have not as charismatic as other Disney pets

I obviously didn´t get everything but there was a scene which left me confused: [spoil] at the end when Rapunzel cries because she couldn´t revive Flynn, suddenly some lights come from Flynn body and he gets recovered. But how did she do that??[/spoil]

Those two have nothing on John Smith and Pocahontas.

I second that YDDD

[spoil]It was left over power from the flower. The last of it really.[/spoil]

Hmm… well now that I think about it, Flynn could have [spoil]taken Rapunzel’s word that she keeps her promise quite literally[/spoil]… although that is not the smartest thing he has done, I would admit. I mean, if taken in a literal sense, [spoil]she still wouldn’t be breaking her promise if he cut her hair after healing him, since he had stopped her from keeping her promise and that it was no fault of her own.[/spoil]

I don’t think Gnomeo and Juliet is Dreamworks. It’s beneath them, even by their standards.

I third that!

Thanks for sharing the video, eje! It reminded me of a fan video some Quebec students did for a Black Eye Peas number a while back, but the fact that the Disney animators were kind enough to stage such a coordinated effort and let us take a peek into their studios is so sweet and heartwarming!

Look out for the Dory cameo at [spoil]00:30[/spoil] and one of the Robinsons’ costumes (from Meet the Robinsons) at [spoil]1:14[/spoil].

And how did they do the final shot? The cameraman must have walked backwards into a cherry picker! :open_mouth:

[spoil]Can someone please give me a downlod link? Hpefully without viruses? I NEED to see this movie. :frowning: [/spoil]

Thanks!!

IV, i sent you an e-mail

Got it!! Thanks.

Nuuuu i can’t watch it on Youtube anymore! -3-

Such a great film! Loved it!

Fresh Tangled News!

Is a sequel in the cards?

[spoil]Nope.[/spoil]
