The history of Pixar Animation Studios...in a book!

I received my copy of the book yesterday, and I love it. I’m so glad there’s lots of text and glossy pictures to read about the history of Pixar. The tone is very historical, it analyzes Pixar’s highs and lows in an unbiased tone. I’ve learned so many things about Pixar that I surprisingly didn’t know before. One thing I noticed is that it only covers the first 20 years of Pixar, ending with the production of Cars, One Man Band, and of course Disney’s official acquisition of Pixar. The book is well bounded, as all Chronicle Books are, with a fabric cover and a Buzz Lightyear sticker. I have more respect for everything Pixar went through, from process.

If you’re a Pixar fan (and why wouldn’t you be?) this is the one thing you’ll want a hold of!
