The "Introduction/I'm Back" Thread

Well, what do ya know? Another old member who has been gone for a while suddenly reappears! I must say that it is a pleasure to see you back again Dragon. We really missed ya.

Hello everyone, I am BuzzLightyear44, and I am new to these forums! I have a feeling I will love these forums because I absolutely LOVE Pixar and Disney Movies! As you can see my username, Buzz Lightyear is one of my favorite Disney-Pixar Characters, but I love them all, and love ALL the movies,’

The only Pixar movie I have not seen is Up, but I am seeing that right away today!

Hope to see you guys around!

Welcome to PIxar Planet BuzzLightyear44

Welcome BuzzLightyear44!

Thank you!

Welcome BuzzLightyear44!

Hello there. I’m Small Mailman and I am also new to the forums as well

Welcome SmallMailMan! Your love it here. I know I do.

Hi! I`ve been “stalking” you guys here for a long, LONG, time! Now, I FINALLY have joined! I would have joined earlier, but, I kept messing “UP” on the Anti Bot Question.

Speaking of “UP”… i just saw it on Opening Day yesterday! It was EXCELLENT!!!

Welcome Small Mailman and Manegirl!

Thank you!

Welcome to PIxar Planet Small Mailman and Manegirl.

Hey everyone! Been lurking for a time but finally gave in and made an account

Hello,

I’ve been here a few weeks but I never really got to introduce myself properly.

My name is AlmightyBong, and I know what you’re thinking… but, sorry to disappoint, I am clean and playing it straight. Bong is a common nickname from where I am. I have not seen or read about any Filipino member of Pixar Planet, so right now, I’ll claim the “Biggest Filipino Pixar Fan” title (if there’s someone else bigger, I’m sure that person’ll be on this site), unless there’s someone here I do not know. My Favorite Pixar movie is Ratatouille, but then again, I have never seen UP yet (which I think will replace the top spot). I am 28 years old (doesn’t matter) but a genuine kid at heart (major qualifier). Here is how I rank my Pixar Films:

  1. Ratatouille
  2. Finding Nemo
  3. Toy Story 2
  4. Wall-E
  5. Monsters, Inc.
  6. Cars
  7. Toy Story
  8. The Incredibles
  9. A Bug’s Life

My Favorite Pixar director is Pete Docter. Although the idea that toys come to life when we are not looking is very original, the idea of a world behind our closet doors, for me, is just BRILLIANT!

You’ll see my favorite Pixar line on my signature.

My favorite Pixar character is Dory, and the Pixar movie that made me cry the most is a tie between Finding Nemo (Marlin and Nemo’s moment after Dory’s rescue) and Toy Story 2 (Jessie’s Song). I laughed the most (cried a little) during Finding Nemo’s Inside the whale scene.

My favorite Pixar soundtrack is a tie between Michael Giacchino’s Ratatouille and Thomas Newman’s Finding Nemo.

My niece and nephews don’t have a single disc of any DreamWorks Animation movie, but has the complete stack of the Pixar slate. We only rent DWA dvd’s and sometimes the kids just toss them around. Whenever it is time we return the discs, the video shops would be surprised, not because of the condition of the discs, but because they didn’t really care about the discs being returned at all. (Hehehe… ok I was kidding at that part, but we do have the complete Pixar catalogue)

Since times are hard due to the recession, I only plan to see UP every other day for the first week (it will be shown in the Philippines on August, i think), and then at least 2 times a week for the remainder of the month. If it is still showing after one month, then i’ll watch it more.

Please be advised, the lists above are most likely to be changed when I see UP. I am dead excited!

starling: I welcome you to the Pixar Planet family.

almightbong: It was really nice to read your mini introduction bio. Nice to see you on the boards.

Welcome starling and almightybong! Hope you both have a fun time here!

Well, Hannahmation, I already had tons of fun, which is why my intro is late. Thanks a lot.

And The Star Swordsman, you are right about the mini intro. I was sleepy when I wrote it. If i was in the mood, you’d probably still be reading it. Thanks a lot!

Wowza, so many new members since I’ve last checked the board! Here’s my official welcome to all the new members since I’ve been on here last, which was around March or so.

Anywho, Welcome to Pixar Planet everybody, nice to see so many new members!

So What Has Remy14 Been Up To?
Sorry guys, I’ve been busy with tons of things. (life, school, etc…)
I know, it’s like… “You couldn’t find a few minutes to post!?”
Haha, well, let’s just say that thinking about Pixar isn’t on the top of my list of things to do/think about on my downtime. And, I didn’t realize just how fast time flies… already it’s June, and it seems like it was just March. Plus, I’ve had plenty of studying and school-related things to attend to. But I’ve recently thought about how I miss coming on here, reading fan fics, talking about Pixar’s latest, and chatting with all of you wonderful people.

So, I’d like to extend my sincerest apology to everyone for my absence. There really isn’t an excuse, (especially for me who is a somewhat active member.) But now that my classes are nearly done, I’ve got plenty of time to drop in at least twice a week and hang out for a while. I’ve not yet seen Up, but I plan to very soon, (maybe even this weekend), and I’m definitely psyched for Toy Story 3, so I’ll be around here to discuss those movies and the like.

So, again, welcome to all the new members, I’ve not been here to extend a specialized welcome to each of you. I hope everyone is fairing well and I can’t wait to get to know everyone all over again… sorta, or at least as much as you can change in three months time.

Remy14! Hey, welcome back! I missed ya buddy. It nice nice to see you back on the forums.

Welcome back Remy…haven’t seen you on for a long time…how is your school doing??
