Thanks alot TSS and Al-Bob. School’s been going alright, although it’s getting pretty hectic right now, especially because of exams and such. But once that’s done with, I’ve got the summer to look forward to, and I can’t wait to go and see Up again because… well, one watch isn’t enough sometimes, right? 
I also want to watch WALL•E again. I don’t know, I just miss it and I miss talking and speculating about it last year. But anyway, I’m rambling. Thanks guys, and it’s great to be back here.

my name is ariel and i just finished my first year of college as an art student, this upcoming year i get to declare my concentration in animation and absorb myself in animation classes. im very excited for this upcoming year, i love learning from my wise professors. id love to work for pixar or disney but im trying to be as optimistic/realistic as i can be about those goals.

Hey, I’m Dan and I’m a 19 year old Sophomore at Emerson College.
About Me:
I just finished my first year as a Media Studies major. I figured out pretty fast that I kindasorta picked the wrong major, as I don’t want to make films, but actually write about them, as a sort of entertainment journalist/maybe film critic. However, I learned that I can stick with the Media Studies major and never have to take another film production course, minor in Journalism, and still get to where I want to be in life, which is a Staff Writer for Entertainment Weekly, or EW.com once the printed magazine dies. (Sad day.) I’m already well on my way, having written ten short pieces (paragraphs, really) for them, and I am Facebook friends with nearly the entire staff of the publication (networking, people!).
Onto the Pixar…
I was 5 years old when Toy Story came out, and I loved it very much. I somehow became disconnected with Pixar in 2001, and never even saw “Monsters, Inc.” in the theaters (gasp! I know!!). I guess that was just my sixth grade, “I’m too cool for this” phase. Because indeed, with the one-two punch of “Finding Nemo” and “The Incredibles” – two of my favorite Pixars – when I was in Grades 7-9, that happened to be my prime Pixar-obsessed years. If I had been on this message board then – was this even around then? – I probably would have posted all day, every day. Instead, now I’ll just be popping in and out to say a few things now and then… That’s not to say I’m not still obsessed with Pixar. I just am also obsessed with about 50 other things in the entertainment world currently, and have to divide my time between all of them. (Confession: I still haven’t watched any of the “Ratatouille” special features, including the only-to-the-DVD Pixar Short. And that film’s high up on the list, too!)
I joined this message board because I’ve been lurking the past month or so, and this place was the only place on the web where I could find people who were in the know about where and how to purchase the “Up” soundtrack. (One of my other big obsessions? The music of Michael Giacchino.) I quickly realized that this seemed like the place to be if you’re a connoisseur on all things Pixar and just a fun place in general. I’ll be sure to stop by every once and a while to post my thoughts/musings/etc…

Wow, I feel so stupid. I’ve been on here since late November, and I never bothered to introduce myself! Some of you may already know me 'round here, but this is for everyone else to know me. 
Okay, so I’m LightningAndDoc (well, duh!). A shortened version I’ve used is L&D, but so far, that hasn’t caught on yet. 
Now, I’m not exactly gonna give away my age, but lets just say I’m in high school. So I’m a young one on this forum. But by no means the youngest. My birthday is May 28. And just to clear up any confusion, I’m a girl! At my school, I’m one of the smartest kids in my class. Then again, it’s so small, I’ve barely got any competition. Put me in a national scale, I doubt I’d be in the top ten. I am a soprano in my school’s chorus, and I play the trumpet in band.
My favorite Pixar movie is Cars (I’m obsessed!!!) and you’ll see me ‘round the Cars, fanfiction, fan art, and videos categories (put in order of expectation). I am what you could call Cars’ biggest fan. So far, I haven’t met anyone on here that seems to beat me (only one person on YouTube dares to challenge me) so I feel it’s safe to call myself that.
My favorite Cars characters are the two that make up my username. In fact, Doc is the character most like me. Just mix him with Lightning’s energy, and there you have it!
My hobbies include listening to my iPod (my headphones are practically glued to my head!), writing fanfiction (for Cars!), drawing, and playing my Wii and PS2. Well, only the PS2 is mine. The Wii is something me and my siblings all got. Anyways, back on topic!
Since I mentioned my iPod, here are a few of my fave bands: Fall Out Boy (the best band ever!!!) the All-American Rejects, Panic! At the Disco, My Chemical Romance, Metro Station, Paramore, All Time Low, Boys Like Girls, Cobra Starship, Hinder, Nickelback, and Daughtry. Basically, a lot of punk, alternative, and rock. I also like pop and some country music.
I hope to go to college at a top university, or IUP (Indiana University of Pennsylvania). I would like to have an English major (since I want to persue a career in writing) and take at least one course in music. But that’s a ways away, and I could always decide do to something different with my life.
Well, I think that’s good enough of an intro right there! XD Now the people who do know me know more about me, and the ones who don’t know me, do. I still can’t believe I haven’t introduced myself on here after over half a year! -_-
