The "Introduction/I'm Back" Thread

Hope you’re having a great time, Badger!

You may notice I’ve not been posting quite as much recently. Don’t worry, still here. Just more on my PS3 giving me less time to post. I usually post here using the PS3’s Web Browser.

I’m a little late heh.
Well my name is Chris, aged 17 and from Scotland. I love Pixar movies, part of my childhood were Toy Story and video games. As you can tell by my avatar and sig, Randall’s my idol.

A late welcome to you Chris! Randall rocks! And DINOS RULE! I want to move to Florida too!

High-fives for you all around.

Yes, I know it’s a little late anyway, but welcome M12.

Welcome, MI2. My favorite color is blue, too.

Great to see you around, MI2!

Welcome M12!

That is hella cool that you’re from Scotland! I want to go there some time.

Any reason in peticular why you’d want to visit Florida out of all the states?

I’m glad to meet someone else who is interested in Plants and Biology. I have always had this interest and love, I use to want to be a Hort. major. I want to Major in Natural Resource & Environmental Management, with a minor in Plant Biology & Botany. Glad to hear we have similar interests!

Thanks for the warm welcome, guys. For those wondering my birthday is on the 6th of July.

ellie-jessie-eve: You should, Scotland’s a great place (once you get past the weather) and very historic too, you could visit the many castles, climb Ben Nevis or hunt for Nessie.

I’d like to go to Florida to see Disney Land and Universal. I’ve never been beyond the UK but next summer I’ll be going to Majorca an island on the east of Spain.
You like Marvin the Martian don’t you?
‘This makes me very angry’

MI2: Scotland does seem like a place I would enjoy. I am a history nut, so visiting Scotland would be absolutely fantastic, I’d like to learn more about Scotland’s history because I’m afraid I dont’ know too much about it.

I was a bit disapointed that Scotland wasn’t one of the stops on the “Celtic Discovery” student ambassador trip I went on when I was 16. We went to England, Ireland, and Wales, but not Scotland!

Sweet, I do hope you get to visit Florida, I’ve never been to DisneyWorld in Florida, but I have been to Disneyland in California. And I am super jealous you’re going to Spain!

Haha, Marvin the Martian is my favorite Looney Tune character!

Hey everyone! I’m new to this forum, just made my account today. I’m 18 and currently going to college in Florida. I would consider myself a big Pixar fan and a fan of animation in general (although I’m sure many/most of you guys will put my fandom to shame). Anyways just here to have a good time and talk about some of my favorite movies of all time! Hope I can make some friends here!

Welcome to Pixar Planet, Mr. Sparkle! You’ll have an awesome time with us. It’s super easy to make friends here.

Hi Mr. Sparkle! I’m Kenzie, and I’m 18 and am going to college in California!

I’m always happy to meet another Pixar fan, and K9Girl is right, making friends here is super easy! We’re like one big virtual family of animation enthusiasts!

Welcome all new members! :-D)

Just stopping by to let you guys know I’m still alive…

Nice to see you again, Pixfan!

K9Girl: Haha same here! :-D)

Hey, I’m Alex, I was just woundering how do you like California? I have always wanted to visit, I might actually be visiting the LA area for a couple days this winter, I am very excited to for it since I’ve never been to California and everyone always makes Cali seem like it’s almost like a separate country than the east coast. Besides the beach (which is where I’ll spend most of my time) anything I should make sure not to miss when I’m in LA?

I agree with you, I’ve been to other states and California does seem like a whole different country compared to other states, in history, customs, and even language (In some parts of Cali, Spanish is spoken more than English). Where else can you ski and surf in the same day?

I live in Northern California, in the Wine Country north of San Francisco. I’m more of a San Francisco girl than an LA one, since I live 9 hours away from LA! However, I’ve driven through it on my way to Disneyland and Disney’s California Adventure Theme Park. Since California is so big, and you are visiting LA, you might want to check out California Adventure to get a little taste of the whole state. It’s a theme park that’s California themed, and it’s in Disneyland Resort.

Here is the “Top 10 Things to do in L.A” list, I hope you find it useful!

I don’t think I’ll be going to Disney Land/California Adventure since I live in Florida and have been to Disney World a ton of times, of course its still fun I just want to do something different, my sister used to work at Epcot so I’ve been to Disney World more than my fair share of times, lol. But thanks for the link it’ll definitely be helpful when I’m doing more planning for my trip. Thanks.

I understand! Still check out the California Adventure park, it’s far different than any other Disney park. Oh by the way, what are you studying in college?
