I definitely know how you feel I disappeared for about 3-4 years before I started poking my head back in around here from time to time. I’ve already made my “I’m Back” speech a few times already so I’ll spare everyone. I’m still on FB, Twitter, etc. to network and now Instagram for kicks. I’ve let my dA go stale over the past 2 years but I have done plenty of drawing since then. Just a load of uploading long overdue . Glad to hear you’re doing great!

Ok, thought I’d post an introduction instead of just jumping into the forum like I usually do when I join new sites…
My name is Sarah, I am [very almost] 21. On the internet I mostly go by Scarry or sometimes (like in this case) Scarricature, which is a combination of my nick name Scarry with Caricature. You can call me Scarry or Scarricature, whichever you prefer.
So a little about me: I’m a Pixar fan (obviously) and like most people here I dream of working there. I’m a huge animation nerd as it is, not just Pixar. I’m a huge fan of the work of Glen Keane and I’d probably be more star truck to meet him than other celebrity out there. Same goes for John Lasseter, however I think Glen Keane wins out… to have the opportunity to show him my sketchbook and receive constructive critique would be a dream come true (quite literally, I have had dreams where I’ve met him and he’s thumbing through my work… its frustrating when I wake up only to find it was just a dream).
Now you’ve probably guess I’m a self proclaimed “artist”. I have an keen interest in animation both 2D and 3D, but my strengths mostly lie in character design and sketching. I’ve been drawing people since I was about 2. My earliest memories are of laying on my stomach in my dad’s office using up all his stationary paper for my scribbles of my mom and dog etc.
So anyways… I’ll stop there before this becomes my autobiography… Its very nice to become apart of this community. It surprises me that I haven’t already joined a Pixar Animation community. But here I am now Looking forward to getting acquainted with you all.

Hi there. Someone suggested this site for me and I decided to check it out.
I DO like Pixar animation, though I think I’m more of a Disney animation fan. Along with those, I also like animation from Studio Ghibli, Chuck Jones, Don Bluth, a little bit of Ralph Bakshi, Rankin Bass; I’m pretty much a fan of animation in general.
I see you took my advice. I’m not sure how you found it though since I didn’t give you the address, welcome though. I’ve been a member for 3 and a half years since if you have questions ask me. We are currrently having problems get new members so it’s been pretty quiet, so if you want ask some friends to join.
