Yeah, it’s kind of unfortunate to me how dead things are now in comparison to when I was a newer member. 
That being said, I’m popping back in and I’ll try to be more active for a while. It saddens me that all this new Pixar stuff is coming at us left and right and yet the boards remain so inactive! 
Leirin, I’m in the same boat with ya! Although, with Upcoming Pixar having it’s revamp, a possible revamp across the site (and forums), coupled with other ideas to restore old programs PP used to offer, the site might be standing in the spotlight soon. Fingers crossed, at least

Leirin: Welcome back my friend. I think what happened is that as life goes on, PP members grow up and lead busy lives and have little time to come back. i think newer members are intimidated by the ammount of spamming thats been going on which gives the impression of a lack of moderation. Luckily, my office job allows me to at least glance and monitor on somewhat of a a small daily basis, so here’s hoping to get the boards back to where it was again.

Am I the only one who’s taken a hiatus almost unknowingly, and then suddenly realized “Wait, why haven’t I been on Pixar Planet in a while?”
At least that’s what it feels like. I’m back, though! It’s cool to see some other members around that haven’t been active in a while. 
^That’s very similar to what happened to me! It’s surprisingly easy to just fall out of the rhythm of checking up on things.

Greetings all!
My name is Spencer Ford, 23 years old and I am currently a full-time 2nd year student, studying Games Art & Design Major and Screen Production Minor at Murdoch University in Western Australia.
I have grown up with a passion for everything animated from ‘2D’ to ‘3D’ and ‘stop-motion’, films, TV and games. I love to concept design my own characters from dreams or things is see during everyday life, thus; I also draw well known characters just for fun.
In the current course I am studying, I have thoroughly enjoyed learning how to build, texture and animate 3D objects, characters and environments in 3DsMax. I will be taking on Maya in the next week.
I have created my own pages online called ‘Sketching Sketches’, where I upload my art for everyone to enjoy, some of you may have come across it in the past…
It has always been my great ambition to work for Pixar as an artist since I saw the first Toy Story movie as a child and it was also the power of the love for Disney that brought me and my fiancé together.
So to sum up, it is great to meet you all and I look forward to all the incredible conversations and thrilling news held within these forums.
