I really haven’t felt myself lately, actually. I’ve been abscent from Pixar Planet for so long that I feel like an outsider or something. Oh well. I’ll get over it. Heh.
A couple of fires have sprung up in my area, which means that I had no school yesterday and don’t have any school today either, so I’ll be free to browse the forum boards all day today, thank goodness. (snigger)

Mitch - Heheh. Well, my mind tends to think the worst of any situation, but that’s mostly due to my anxiety. But yeah, I didn’t think you would actually leave here. I don’t see myself leaving this place any time soon. The only way I wouldn’t post here is if I couldn’t get to the computer.
Yeah, I actually heard about those fires and thought of you because you live in California. It’s pretty big news down here.
Mitch: My school’s also been closed for the past two days “due to poor air quality” because of the fires. That’s why you may have noticed an abundance of posts from me here. heh. We must live pretty near eachother, at least we must both be in Southern California!

Yeah, the fire got uncomfortably close to the area in which I reside, especially seeing as the sky was blood red on Saturday/Sunday. Not to mention, the wind was fierce enough to blow down one of our neighbors’ trees. Thankfully, no one has been hurt that I know of, and the sky is finally clearing up. So yeah. It’s getting better. I’m all good.

I’m new here, so I just thought i’d introduce myself.
Well, my name’s Ashley, and i’m 14 years old. I live in California, and I LOVE animation, Tim Burton, and anything Disney/Pixar. I actually do some stop motion in my spare time, and I really love drawing, as well.

It’d be great if you could give me your feedback on my stop-motion film, Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland (go to the" Your Animated Movie Ideas " thread in the "Other Animation board) . I love stop-motion animation, hand-drawn traditional 2D animation, and CG animation. I’ve been drawing for seven years (I’ve started my Fan Art thread and my Non-Pixar art thread ) , and hope to work at Disney, Pixar, Blue Sky Studios, and open my own animation studio.
