Just curious, were any of the 3D affects good?
In a perfect world, The Lion King’s success at the box office this weekend would make Disney putting more effort into doing hand drawn animated movies. But in the real world, it’s success will only result in more claasics getting a 3D release.
I think Aladdin is next.
Hmm, could be. I’ll see an Aladdin release along with a Hunchback release.
I forgot If I saw Hunchback in theaters or not.
Number one at the box office impressive. Beat Contagion and Drive (I am surprised Drive did so poor not alot of commercials until it was released and word of the mouth really didn’t spread).
That’s good, wonder how much it will make.
I just got back from seeing this. (in 2D) Totally worth the money I spent.
Awesome! I was unaware that they were also doing 2-D showings. That’s good. I know some people with eye damage that can’t even attend 3-D viewings of movies, so.
^ Same here! I didn’t realize it was in 2D. I’d much rather see it in that, since 3D is just so expensive, and when my whole family’s going it adds up with that 3D!
The 3D would have been less expensive since it was just my brother and I, but the 2D is just wonderful. My brother and I were actually the only ones in the whole room where the movie was playing.
I love that feeling! That happened at Tangled with my mom and brother, and it was just too cool. I kinda like crowds though, I’m weird. Seeing reactions with strangers is half of what I love about going to the movies I’m glad you enjoyed it! I can’t wait to see it on a non-blurry, non-VHS, non-recorded-off-Disney-Channel screen XD
^ It was kind of awkward at first, but then it turned out to be kind of cool. We both started laughing when we saw a preview for The Lion King’s rerelease came on, since we were, of course, there to see The Lion King.
Eew that’s weird! I didn’t even know that was possible! You were there for a piece of history XD I guess they completely messed it up
I suppose so. They really should change some of these previews instead of picking the same ones for every movie they show.
I think I wanna see it in 2D.
That happened to me with Toy Story 3.
I would love to see The Lion King in theaters(in 2D, mind you) but there’s no way my dad would take me.
Me too. I would like to see my favorite Disney movie on the big screen.
Me three, also in 2D.
