The Lord of the Rings

And

of course, who could forget Frodo! The main guy! He captured my attention the very first time I saw him.

My thoughts exactly. Elijah Wood

delivered a superb performance as Frodo Baggins. And I must say that he has one of

the nicest smiles of any person I’ve ever seen… Just watch the end of Return of the

King and you’ll see what I mean.

But, in reality, every actor and actress in the film

trilogy of The Lord of the Rings was fantastic in every way.

You are absolutely right Mitch.

POH -

TAE - TOES!

Elijah wood did a wonderful job!

Gasduude - Pff…you’re making me laugh.

“Roast chicken?!”

 • Frodo

I dunno why, but that particular line of Frodo’s always makes me chuckle.

(snigger)

What’s your favorite piece of dialogue in any one of the films?

Archibald and Mitch- Thanks for the Easter Eggs.

I love scenes with Merry and Pippin.

“It can’t be.”- Merry
“It is!”-

Pippin
“Longbottom Leaf. The finest pipe-weed in South Farthing.”-Merry
"It’s perfect.

One barrel each."- Pippin

sharpie - No problem!

Oh yeah, the Merry and Pippin lines are classic.

“It was a shortcut.” - Merry
“A shortcut to what?” - Sam
“Mushrooms!”

 • Pippin

Ha! I forgot about that one.

"Frodo wouldn’t have gotten far

without Sam."- Frodo
“Now, Mr. Frodo, you should’t make fun. I was being serious.”-

Sam
“So was I.”- Frodo

Ooh, I haven’t seen these in a while, hmm.

I do

love the “potatoes” line, that’s just great!

I can tell you I absolutely loved the

scene where they where in the Mines of Moria, in that tomb. Then Pippen (or was it Merry?) drops that thing down

the well, and makes a whole lot of noise…it was great because your about to wet your pants your so scared, and

then he does something stupid! Great comic relief…

What is your favorite movie of the trilogy? Mine would have to be either Two Towers or The Return of the

King.

sharpie - Oh yes, I love that part as well.

Gasduude - That was definitely clumsy Pippin who dropped down that bucket.

If it wasn’t for him the fellowship might have gotten out of Moria without any trouble. (snigger) :stuck_out_tongue:

Bill - My favorite would have to be Return of the

King. So much emotion in that last half hour of film… It was absolutely

astonishing to watch the thing in the theater – I felt like I wanted to get up and

fight during the battle at the Pelennor Fields. And after the movie ended it was like everyone breathed a big

sigh of relief…

I absolutely

love the fight scenes in the LOTR. It always pumps me up and makes me want to watch it over and over again.

My dad did calligraphy and

cartography work in that movie. You can see it at some points.

Holy cow,

that is sweet info. Could you give us a screen please?

Pixel Candy - Wow – that’s awesome!! Yes, please give up a

screencap, if you may.

Wow, Candy!

Lucky you! :sunglasses:

If you can get some Caps, that would be great! :stuck_out_tongue:

Off-Topic – I’m over 1000 posts! It feels good being a

Piston Cup Champion! :sunglasses:

Well, instead of screencaps, I thought I’d show his website which

contains all of his work. Just take a poke around, and have a look at all the maps and stuff he’s done for

past/in-progress movies.

Gasduude

- argh no, YOU’RE lucky to be a Piston Cup Champion! I wish I could be one. Heheh… one of these

days…

Pixel Candy - Wow, your dad

worked on King Kong and “Narnia”, too?!

That’s incredible! You have an awesome dad!

Gasduude - Hey,

congratulations on getting to the Piston Cup Champion title! Now you just have to

make it to Super Hero.

(Heehee) Your parents sound pretty cool, too! :stuck_out_tongue:

Yeah, thanks! When are you a Super Hero?

Gasduude - Haha – well,

thanks! That makes two parents who are animators/artists on this site: Pixel

Candy's and mine.

And I think you reach Super Hero status

once you get to 2,000 posts, but I’m not sure. Currently, Super Hero is as high as

you can go, but I suggested to PV that they should have a Head

Chef rank too…in the future.

Going back to Lord of the

Rings…

What is your favorite location (Rivendell, Rohan,

etc…)?

Mine has to be either Rivendell, Rohan, or the Shire. I also love the home of the

Wood Elves, although the name of the place escapes me. Heheh.
