The Ultimate Incredibles Sequel

I see what you mean. THe reason why she was the starlet of many fanfics is because she wasn’t featured that much in the movie, so the fanfic writers wanted to give her a chance to shine, maybe as their favorite character?

But it’s a little annoying that she and Syndrome are everyone’s favorites and everyone writes stories on them. That’s half of why I don’t read FFs anymore.

But, anyway. I think my main thing, other than my previously stated ideas, is that one gets made. Seriously. I’m dying here!! The TS fans(including me) have been satisfied, and thew MI and Cars fans are soon to be appeased. What about the rest of us? Not every movie needs a sequel, but…this one definitely does.

I couldn’t agree more with your last sentence IV. In fact, every time I tell people of the next Pixar movie (and sequel), the next question that always pops us is, “So when are they gonna make an Incredibles 2?”

Mmm I agree with the first half of the first part of your statement but not the second half. Violet is definitely a favorite of the fanbase, and Synlet is pretty popular, but most other characters are more well-received than Syndrome. A lot of Synlet writers only write it because they like hero/villain or they don’t like the other Violet ships but don’t want to introduce an OC. Personally I feel like Mirage gets more attention than Syndrome.

But anyway.

Would anybody care if Tony was in the sequel?

Hmmm… Tony wasn’t featured much in the movie. I think he’s a ‘token male love interest’ for Violet to have a crush on. The fact that he is so perfect (except for his shy asking out of Violet at ehe end, which at least assured me he wasn’t a robot from the future) kinda creeped me out.

Should Pixar include him in the sequel, I hope they reveal more of his character so we get to know him better. And of course, how his relationship with Violet is developing.

I hope he’s in the sequel. I’m not a shipper of that pair, but I like him better than any of Violet’s other introduced options. And like TDIT said, I’d like to know more about him as a person.

Or going back to how Tony would handle the pressure of finding out his girlfriend is a Super if Brad Bird decides to go in that direction.

That would be pretty cool. Again like the Fantastic 4. 8D But I think they could do something fresh with the idea.

Yeah, too many ideas like the Fantastic 4 huh? But you know, there is that arguement that Brad Bird got the idea of the Incredibles powers from the Fantastic 4. :unamused:

Well, I know how often that gets brought up. But I don’t really care, because their powers match their roles in the family. Besides, the creators of the F4 movie had to change it because it was too much like The Incredibles. And, personally, maybe I’m crazy. But I really don’t like either of the Fantastic 4 movies, especially the sequel.

Good point IV.

Keep up the brilliant ideas flowing everyone. WHo knows, maybe Brad Bird might stumble on to here and use one of the ideas we’ve posted in this thread.

Some people even say he pinched the SRP idea from Watchmen, of which the graphic novel came out many years before Incredibles.

Anyway, it’s wishful thinking TSS. Not that Brad may not appreciate our ideas, but I think Pixar is bound by legal obligation not to use ideas submitted or proposed by fans. It’s the same with studios all over, any spec scripts for sequels of their movies will be shredded because they don’t want to breach intellectual copyrights (or become the subject of litigation like they were with Monsters Inc and currently with Cars 2).

The best way to get your idea in is to get hired, make your way into the inner circle of the ‘Brain Trust’, and then hope that they accept your proposal.

^I agree. I doubt they would take our ideas. Not just for legal reasons, but we don’t seem to be the most creative bunch. Literally every idea so far has been related to another movie/book/comic.

yeah, you guys have a point. But oh well. It is wishful thinking.

this is going wayyy back to like the beginning to this thread- but personally, I would love to see the family a little older. Not like 10 years from where the last one left off, but at least at a point where Jack-Jack might be able to talk. That would make Violet around 17-18 I think which could then make her storyline more of a nerves and going off to college thing. Jack-Jack might feel a little left out that he doesn’t have one super power, he’s kinda all over the map. and I Dash could be in a place where he’s nervous about moving into High School or something. I don’t know, just things I think of when I think of a Incredibles sequel. ;-p

I think if Vi was preparing for college, it would be too much like TS3. Just my thinking, though.

Well, maybe with VIolet in college, Bob and Helen retiring, Dash about to graduate, and Jack-Jack still young and raw, this would be a perfect time for a super villain to strike, when the Incredibles are at their weakest point and separated.

It still sounds like TS3 to me. And, I mean, I’m not saying it’s a bad idea, because of course it’s not. But I(personally) would not enjoy such a movie. :frowning:

I see what you mean how it sounds like TS3. But hey, I’m still brainstorming. I would watch a movie like that.
