Are there any singers considered legendary and you don’t see how they got that status? Are there any movies that are considered classics that you’ve watched them and didn’t understand what’s so special? Any legendary actors that have done nothing for you while you watched their films? Any classic or popular songs, popular fashions, foods that you don’t get why their so popular?
Star Wars I’ve only seen the first movie so far, but I don’t understand why people love it so much. I was bored during some parts of the film. I’m gonna wait until the Blu-ray collection come out before I watch the rest of the movies. But I’m in no rush to get to them.
The Rolling Stones The only songs I’ve heard by them that I think are good are Ruby Tuesday and Paint It Black. The rest of their stuff I’ve heard does nothing for me.
I Want You Back This is a great Jacksons 5 song. But it’s the album version that doesn’t blow me away. I like the way it sounded and was sung when the Jacksons got older snd when Michael went solo and sung it during his tours.
Jimi Hendricks The only song I like by his is If 6 was 9.

Seriously though, the first Star Wars movie is famous for being viewed as boring and stupid by most people, and it has many fans but equally as many haters.
Okay, I’d better stay out of this topic then. It’s not that I have an issue with people who have differing opinions–that’d be silly–but I can tell it’s not for me. I can’t even really think of anything that comes to mind at the moment…maybe if I do I’ll post again.
I can think of millions of things. Personally, I really love Star Wars: A New Hope. But I see why it is boring for you.
Country music. Seriously. WTF? Madonna The Dark Knight Adult TV cartoons The Disney Channel Hating on Justin Bieber-Okay. I am not a fan, but really. His haters are just as immature, full-of-it, obsessed and annoying as his fans.
I didn’t know that. The ONLY time I’ve heard anything negative about anything Star Wars related over the years (besides people saying George Lucas is milking the franchise) is when People talked about the second trilogy.
Somebody mentioned Call of Duty. I gotta agree with that one. I played part four earlier this year and I was so bored. And playing online is even more boring. I don’t see how people get addicted to that game.
Pokemon I enjoyed the show during the first few years, but I never liked the games.
That makes me super happy. I can’t justify the Dark Knight, but other than that, I think most of mine are justified. I’m glad you agree! I don’t expect to be agreed with(obviously ) but it makes me feel good that you do.
Family Guy, definitely. I still watch it occasionally, but recently they’ve just completely given up on the plot and decided to throw as many “like that time I…” jokes in that don’t really add to anything. I can tolerate the Cleveland show, and kind of enjoy American Dad, but after an episode of Family Guy I’m just annoyed.
Call of Duty, Battlefield, Halo, all those games. Everyone basically goes nuts over them and I really have no idea why. I looked up the plot of COD: Black Ops the other day and it’s plain stupid. Speaking of games…
I get extremely annoyed by this whole “PS IS BETTER THAN XBOX!” “NUH UH, PS SUCKS!” thing that’s going on between console gamers. I have a few friends who are PlayStation diehards and it just annoys the hell out of me. The general assumption that the Wii is only for old women and little kids is irritating as well.
World of Warcraft. I played it on a free, private server (I think it was called WoWgasm) for a few weeks with friends but got bored of it.
Rap / Hip Hop / Dubstep music. Dear lord this stuff annoys the crap out of me.
Oh yeah, forgot to mention this – look up the song “Gimme Shelter”. Then try “Shine a Light” and “She’s a Rainbow”. (My personal fave is “Tumbling Dice”). Just look a little harder maybe? These are fantastic songs!
