Things you just noticed?

What are some things you just noticed in the Pixar films…I’m watching Cars right now, and I just noticed that [In the flashback of Radiator Springs with everyone driving through the town] Mater used to be light blue and shiny…and what not. :stuck_out_tongue:

How bout ya’ll? What are some things that you just noticed in any of the Pixar films?

So we’re just listing random stuff we find in Pixar movies? Well, I noticed that the Incredbile was only converted from a normal car and back only once. I would expect more, or more “incredible” vehicles.

Ha-ha. I should have known that this topic of discussion would pop up sooner or later…

Almost every single time I watch any Pixar feature film, I notice something different, and that especially goes for Finding Nemo, Cars, and Ratatouille. There’s so much to see that it’s almost inevitable that something will go unnoticed during the first viewing. I suppose that this makes Pixar films all the more fun to watch. (heheh)

One of my favorite subtle bits in Ratatouille is one that I noticed about, oh, a few months ago perhaps, which is this one:

As Remy makes to retrieve some food from “Gusteau’s!” food locker for Emile, he enters into the kitchen by way of a grate in the floor. But when he pops his head out of the grate… he sort of just rests there for half a second, frustrated with his brother and contemplating what he’s about to do, before he shoots over to the food locker.

It took me a while to catch this, but when I finally did I thought that it was absolutely hilarious, probably because I can relate to Remy in that particular predicament. (snigger)

Hmm, well, I’ve noticed quite a few things across the time, but the only one I can pull right up right now is that I was watching Finding Nemo, I realized that as soon as Nemo touches the boat and starts to swim back to Marlin, he has - for a few frames - this little devious smirk like “heh-heh, I just got away with it”.

He looks a little freaky though. :open_mouth:

…But in a cute way.

Whoa!!! That is really cute. Kinda creepy though, but you gotta love Nemo.

I just noticed that in the scene where Sally says her last “Yeah, okay.” to Lightning before he says goodnight, you can see the “HERE IT IS” in the background!

How coool is that?

Yeah, Pixar geek here.

Yeah, it seems to happen every time I watch a Pixar film again. Like, when I’d seen Armageddon and then watching Monsters, Inc., I realised that Randall was standing in the same place that Steve Buscemi was when they do that dramatic walking out in a big group thing.

There have probably been other occassions of a similar nature, but I just can’t remember them right now. Nice idea for a thread, Shockerz!

Oo…Interesting one’s ya’ll got there…

And thanks so much lizardgirl !

haha. Watching Finding Nemo on TV right now…and just noticed Darla’s shirt says ‘Rock n Roll Girl’ xD!

Edited. I combined both of your posts. – Mitch

i just watched finding nemo on disney channel and i noticed that when dory is singing just keep swimming, marlin’s rolling his eyes and kinda scooting away.

really shockerz? I didn’t know that! I knew it said girl, but I had no idea of the other words.

Yep

Lol. Go Darla

NO! I hate Darla!

I tend to notice little details in Pixar movies. For instance, when Marlin says something like “The mask! Where’s the mask?” right after Dora says “dusty,” she only looks downward a split-second after Marlin does. Pixar didn’t just have both of them look down at the same time because he cares a lot more for the mask than Dory does.

Yeah.

Have you guys noticed that the Walt Disney logo music for TI was different that the other PIxar movies?

Well, I’ve noticed. It’s on the commentary, and who can’t love Mike Giacchino’s music?

But the first time i saw it A113, I thought something was really strange. Then I realized the music was different.

I just noticed that when lightning is talking to sally before the reporters take him away, all the sounds of the reporters and residents fade away, kinda symbolizing that all they see or care about right now is each other, then after she drives away, the sounds come back.

I remember it wasn’t until sometime last year that I first noticed this - Anyone see that in Finding Nemo during the shark scene, right after Chum says “A clownfish? Really?”, Bruce comes charging forward with his line and poor Chum get slammed down, and you hear this off-screen metallic ‘klunk’ of him hitting the ground? 8D Made me laugh.

Really? :astonished: I’ve gotta see (hear) that! 8D

I just noticed the movie storyline and the game storyline for TI have their differences.
