Those are fantastic! I especially like the fact that the original user, MrCrazycommercials, posted a bunch of legit 80’s commercials to make Lotso fit in better. And of course, GaikokujinJoe1 just joined today to post the Japanese version, referencing the “original” as his inspiration.
Very savvy viral marketing, and it makes me even more anxious for Lotso to be released.
If it is indeed true, and we are getting a TSC Mrs. Potato Head, I would suspect that the problems that plagued her husband (Legs, joined eyes) would be present on her too. Still, it would be pretty cool to have a toy that talks in the voice of George Costanza’s mother, Heh heh.
There’s been no mention of her before. I think it’s just a mistake by the site. She wasn’t at the toy fair and I’ve seen no previous reference at all. Still, we can hope
Got my replacement Woody just now. Wow, the eye paint is absolutely perfect! better than any of the ones Ive seen in person. The collar isn’t stitched as nicely (as in sharply), but that’s a trade off I can live with.
They also sent me a new hat for some reason, which is nice.
Now I need to find a proper stand, because I’m never using the included one again.
As for Mrs potatohead, yeah I honestly think that’s just a typo, I mean its a one letter difference, and without any other clues pointing toward a release of her, I’m not holding my breath. thouigh it would make sense since she’s going to be a pivotal character in TS3, but still.
Whats also funny is how because of the conjoined eyes, most kids who get one wont be able to recreate their favorite scene or appearance in general throughout most of this movie.
Edit: back to Woody real quick, I notice the vest is sewn down in the front near the bottom, did it always used to be like that? Because my old one didn’t seem to have anything except 2 on the shoulders. How do they expect me to pull out his voice box to switch modes without pulling these 2 stitching’s out anyway?
Edit: heres my collection as it stands now (this isnt their permanent location, as I no longer have room to display them all in one spot).
Just because we haven’t seen anything about her before now doesn’t mean that she couldn’t still be coming, because we didn’t know about Utility Belt Buzz until his picture popped up online with Bullseye and Jessie. She could be part of an unannounced Wave 3, that will come out later this year, in the fall. Thinkway has been pretty quiet about any plans for after the movie is released, so I think we should just wait and see what ends up happening. Odds are, if they do make a Wave 3, she’d pretty much be a no-brainer, as the body and inner workings are already done thanks to Mr. Potato Head, and all they have to do is make a new sound chip and new pieces, and you’ve got a “new” toy, just like with Utility Belt Buzz.
While we’re on the subject of mrs p. I had a couple of spare hours today so decided to mod my mrs p. I know it’s not tsc but I didn’t think it’s worth starting different thread for.
all the parts are made from polymer clay. It was a bit of a rush job really. Two hours to make and paint before my kids came home. The hardest part was mixing the bubblegum pink for the nose.
Hello, I’ve been reading this thread for a really long time and finally decided to post on it. I just had a question: I know it’s been said that the pegs of the TSC Potato head parts do not fit into the standard one, but what is it about them that makes this true? Anything alterations could fix? Also, possibly a photo comparison of the two? I was just really curious about this. Thanks.
The TSC potato head parts do not fit into the standard one because the pegs on the TSC one are a thick, horozontal shape which cannot fit into the holes of the standard one. It would probably be very hard to alterate the pegs. Here is a photo I took, comparing the two:

And I guess that must be the same with all the other parts then too. If they did fit I would have at least wanted to exchange the white teeth for the red lips.
Yes, I’m Pretty sure it is, no other Lotso plush has been made yet besides Thinkways’ one and the one you can find at the Disney Store which has a mean-looking face on.
This is wierd for the longest time on disney store.com it said 6 in the collection now it says 7 but only 6 toys appear me thinks there about to list potato head.
