Their sure taking their time…they need to just add the rest of the announced/shown ones, even if they say TBA for a release date.
Mr. P will be a shelf warmer here soon. Stores are getting alot of them in, so just wait it out. Disney store prices are crazy.
Well, here is my collection as it stands currently:
Love the setup man, it looks like they’re Mikes toys! Very awesome cross blend.
What kind of frames are those for the collection certificates? They look really great like that.
Mine came like that. It was stitched very loosely, and there was nothing holding the ends in, so right now, the threads are just sticking out. My guess is that it’s meant to come out.
Nice job. I have an old Mrs. Potato Head from TS2, and it has a nose almost exactly like that one, just a little bit smaller.
Now that you mention that, I’ve been wondering if John Lasseter is ever going to do video reviews of the rest of the Toy Story Collection toys when they come out.
Wow, that’s so cool! Did you make that yourself or did you buy it? And where might I be able to get one?
I got it at Michael’s for $3.49.
I love how Mike is behind them! Slinky looks sooo good! I can’t wait for him and Hamm ![]()
Finished my mod of TSC Mr. Potato to make myself a Mrs. Potato. She isn’t perfect, but I am pretty happy with her. I might fix her eyelashes if they continue to bother me…but I also might just wait to see if an actual TSC version of her comes out before I potentially mess her up by trying to fix her.
And I took out her batteries so that I could never accidentally bump her hat and cause her vocal gender confusion.
Awesome. Did you use parts from other Potato Heads, or did you make it all from scratch (besides the ears and arms)?
Used the ears and arms from the TSC Potato (obviously), and the hat from the current Mrs. Potato Head being sold, but painted the flower and the hat band to be the correct colors. The feet, eyes, nose, ears, and mouth I made.
Very nice.
As for taking out the batteries thing, you realise there’s an off button on the bottom right? Not a big deal though, I took mine out for the time being just to make it lighter anyway.
Yeah, I know there is an off button…but I just felt better taking them out altogether…not to mention I sculpted the pieces directly on the potato, then I had to wash the excess sculpey off, so I figure it was best to remove the batteries before I got water near it.
I am actually debating taking the batteries out of all of them anyway, I only really display, rarely do I actually use the bells and whistles they come with, and over time the batteries can leak and corrode…so it is probably best for the long run that I take them out anyway. Though I am not quite ready to do that.
That’s truly impressive wampar. She looks great. I would love to get my hands on one potato head, let alone two.
Awesome job! That’s just how I think Mrs. Potato Head would look if they’ve made her for the collection. I’ve thought the regular one I’ve seen of her looked awful. The regular Mr. Potato Head at least looked better in my opinion.
that’s awesome! you did a good job with that.
Kickass job man, those look really nice.
So the Mrs. P is from Mr. P? Meaning 2 tsc mr.ps are seen in the photo?
Kickass work man, they look really, good.
Great job with Mrs. P It be great if they’d realease her that way she’d have the smaller ears like in the movie.
