Very strange. I was at my Target tonight, and all of the products that were unveiled last Saturday were still there. I also stopped at Walmart, and found what appears to be a Walmart exclusive (at least it is labeled as such) Spanish Buzz Lightyear:

Yeah, I was pretty stoked when I saw it. I was there a couple of days ago and there was no sign of it then, so I assume it was just put on display either yesterday or today.
That TSC Spanish Buzz looks cool, but is it just a Spanish version of the English toy, or is it meant to be the movie “reset” version? The Walmart version has what sound like some of the same phrases from the trailer (complete with Spanish guitar flourishes). When I have a few minutes, I’ll compare the sayings to be sure.
I’ll see what I can do about a video for you this weekend.
All the new Thinkway figures look great. Twitch and Chunk are sorely tempting, but I can’t believe that Twitch still doesn’t come with his “magical battle staff”. Twitch needs his “magical battle staff” or he’ll never be able to defeat his arch-nemesis.
And “Spanish” Buzz is highly amusing. At least it is a “screen-accurate” variant.
Sadly Thinkway’s “Basic” (non-Collection) Rex is not being released in Australia, so I obtain a “Collection” Rex locally if they ever go on sale.
Kmart now has the 1:1 Chunk and Sparks in stock, although the link seems to be F-d up when you click them:
I really want a full size Twitch and Chunk, but I’ll wait to see if they make them into wave 3.
Some guy off Ebay told me he saw the Jessie at Target. I think he saw the wrong one, but maybe since someone saw their whole shelves missing, they could be rearranging, to make room for her and maybe others, since initially only the Mr. P had a empty shelf space. Hopefully.
And I posted earlier that my Disney store told me they were getting them May 18th.
This is a little off-topic, but does anyone know when the new buddy packs will be out?
The first wave is already out in Orlando. Have seen them at both Target and Walmart. But not all Targets or all Walmarts. Probably half of them I have been in. This first batch has six new characters: Trixie, Twitch, Big Baby, Stretch, Buttercup, and Mr. Pricklepants.
I’m really hoping that Sparks and Chunk make it to the UK. It would be nice to see the cheaper versions of Lotso etc for us parents. It’s hard to tell my youngest he can’t have Rex and co because their too delicate and expensive. I would import some but for the price of shipping I could get the tsc versions.
Going to check my local Toys R Us today for more Toy Story stuff. Hopefully they’ll have…anything new.

YES! I got my Lotso in today! He’s so awesome and so fluffy! I still ain’t used to the whole him being a [spoil]villain[/spoil] thing yet though! He’s so innocent he even says he loves you and he’s just so cuddly it’s a real shocker actually! I still love him though.

The smell is VERY strong it’s like at your nose even before you take him out.
He looks great. Call me slow off the mark but I only just noticed he has no cane. A choking hazard I guess.
well no, my guess is that the actual toy in the movie, was without the cane when he was newly purchased, and was something he aquired at the daycare kinda like andy’s name on his toys.
