funny, the tru in the UK list there new releases for June 1st too. I would have thought though that they would hit the US at least a few weeks ahead of us. I’m still waiting on Mr P here, listed as the end of May in most places.
Here’s the movie features for Prospector that will need to be included
- Pull String 9 different sayings (which eliminates interactive mode)
-Poseable (Which means no display stand) - Includes Pick Axe and Metal plate thing in the box
-And that’s it.
Also his sayings should ONLY have to do with Woody’s Roundup and not other sayings from the movie because in Woody’s Roundup he talked like a hillbilly and in real life he talked normal. Well that’s really all he needs

why no display stand? Woody,Jessie and Bullseye are floppy toys. Stinky Pete is part of that range.He could have an interactive mode just as the others. As you say there is a difference between t.v. Pete and in the box pete.
I think the prsopector needs a few more than 9 sayings, should be a ragdoll, have interactive mode, have a pick and his gold pan, and come with some type of display stand

Yeah Prospector would be an amazing edition. I’ve wanted to have him (mint in the box-never been opened) since that movie came out. I really really really hope they put him out…
After all, this is pretty much their last chance to put the Toy Story gang out, right? The odds of a Toy story 4 are pretty slim, I’d think. So, as a “grand finale” they should put out Prospector and Zurg at least…just to so everyone can finally have a coherent set.
The TS2 toy release was really unimpressive for me

I picked up Potato Head this past weekend, and I’m wondering when I can expect Jessie and Bullseye.
Btw – I really wish they would have included “Woody’s Roundup” as part of the sounds that Bullseye has. 
Utility belt Buzz and Lotso are out. No sign of Jessie or Bullseye yet though. and no, we don’t know when.

Because I remember in the movie his box said he was poseable which means he wouldn’t need a display stand
i feel so alone i have no toy story toys nor the tsc because the only money i have is $15 to walmart but i dont think they sell the tsc

Poseable simply means that he can be moved and isn’t rock-solid. The same applies to Woody and the rest of the gang. Prospector may have a good balance anyways since he’s so pudgy, but I think they should give him a stand just so that he fits in with the rest of them. Either that, or some cool display thing with his box, since that played a large part in the movie. I would love it if they gave him his 9 sayings from the movie, but that’s obviously not going to happen.
Because there’s such a difference between the toy character and the cartoon character, I think an interactive mode would be fitting, just as long as they keep it hidden, which won’t be a problem.
TylerHaslett-Thanks! That air freshener idea is a good one. I want to check TRU soon to see if Lotso is there, just to get a look at him (both the TSC and non-TSC versions, if they’re there).
Anyway, back on the topic of Prospector, does anyone have a screenshot of the back of his box where it shows some of the sayings? I know I’ve seen it somewhere, I think it might have actually been on this thread. If so, could you post it?

John Lasseter didn’t create the toy but he did create the character for the movie.
Yeah but the COA doesn’t say the same thing as the other COA’s do for that line. I don’t have it but I think it says “as much as we enjoyed making the movie”. If you think the COA’s would stop them from cashing in on TS3 character’s you’re insane. And you can’t assume John Lasseter didn’t have a hand in any of the characters either.
I’m not saying that there wont be toy story 3 characters in the line. I just mean that it would be unlikely to have the whole line with ts3 characters when there is so many other popular characters.
