I couldn’t get the dang free shipping to work for some reason? Any ideas?
I think it is interesting to consider what they have already popped out in the TSC line as far as what characters to give an idea of what may be to come. The main good characters from the first movie in Wave 1, more of the “good guy” core characters from TS2 along with one character (Lotso) whom we do not know at the moment will be good or bad. My hunch is that Lotso will be redeemed by the end of the movie in TS3.
So, looking to the next wave, you have to wonder of there are characters Pixar and Thinkway would consider are still core toys that would be in higher demand, along with the possibility of breaking away from t he Wave 1 and 2 “Good Guy” characters to consider the “Bad Guys” of the series.
I would like to see Zurg myself as well Stinky Pete, but I also think the core group in the electronic version of the collection series would be smart to consider in any third wave consideration. Plus, you know there will be characters from the TS3 movie that will be endearing to the original gang, which is why I expect Lots being produced now plays an interesting key role to make Wave 2.
I really think Slinky and Ham would be great for wave three along with a Mrs. Potato Head, Zurg, Stinky Pete and possibly a few characters from TS3 as the next logical step.
msduncan, did you only buy Lotso by himself? If so, the problem may have been that the free shipping is only on orders of $50 or more, and since he’s technically 49.99, you need something else to bring the order up over $50. I know it’s dumb, but it’s the way the computer system works.
thought this was interesting find. i was foolin around on the toy story 3 homepage looking for something new. i found this like make a picture type game. in the stamp part, there was the mr potao head from the front of the TSC box. however there was a mrs potao head that looked like it was designed the same way. see what i mean

Its a 2d drawing of Potato head, the same image used on his box. He was saying since there is a Mrs. P in the same style image, that could be a future image used on her box if she were in TSC. But, the drawings could’ve came first, and they choose the Mr. P for the box. Either or, its good detective work and fair speculation.

Sorry if this was already mentioned, but Mr. Potato Heads eyebrows were changed from the prototype so that they’re now connected. That’s kind of a bummer.
It’s become apparent that the single eyes were safety concerns, which I’m not to argue with. You could definately tell Thinkway was trying to work around this because he had the two eye sockets, but the seperated eyebrows would’ve made it look much better.

I’ve already sent in for mine and have been waiting very patiently for it, but every time I go to the site to check on it’s status it never seems to change from “In Process”.
I’m really anxious to see what that Hamm looks like (the pictures don’t appear to do it justice since his mouth isn’t visible). I’m still saving up my tokens, and Hamm looks like the most-appealing thing there (the shirt also looks nice, but that would be a lot of Apple Jacks!).
I’m trying to track down a '95 Hamm, since almost everything in my collection is from that time period, but I can’t find anything! Looks like this Hamm might be my only option.
