Nice pic of Jessie. I still prefer the UK mattel Jessie though over this version. The devil is in the detail however and the tsc version wins that hands down.
got back from a Jessie hunt at toys R us, no luck. I was expecting they would at least have Jessie’s with bad QC, but they dont even have a spot for it yet. no massive displays like Ive been seeing online either.
Like kyle, I also went looking for TSC Jessie today. My toysrus however, actually had the big display like the picture posted earlier. Unfortunately they still didn’t have Jessie, but have gotten Lotso And Utility Belt Buzz, which I already own.
On a side note, it seems my Lotso’s hug sensor is broken. My brother also got one and his sensor seems to be working fine. I personally don’t care too much for the hugging feature, but a heads up for everyone else who plans on getting him. Also beware, one of his really unmanly lines is [spoil]Well, hearts and flowers[/spoil]
I’ve tried activating the sensor after pressing each button. Even tried it while he talks, and after. I don’t think I’m making a mistake anywhere as there’s not much to it. My brother’s Lotso responds to hugs easily, and it seems to work before you press a button, as long as he is on. So I can only assume mine is a bit malfunctioned.
Has anyone painted, or thought about painting Buzz’s hands with more yellow/green paint? He needs those patches to cover more surface area to be screen accurate. especially if you look at TS3 where I believe their the largest they’ve ever been. it now covers nearly the entire back of the hands.
I assume they didn’t do it themselves as a cost cutting measure. I’d like to give it a go, but Ive never painted anything before. I guess my 90s buzz would be a good guinea pig.
I think in order to do that you’d need glow in the dark paint unless it doesn’t glow in the dark on his hands. (I don’t remember because I haven’t made him glow in the dark in a long time.) but awesome idea though.
Left him off all night, and just turned him back on. Still not working. Oh well, the only reason why I would care is really for the phrases he says. Or if I passed it on to a daughter in the future. I turned him back off and will try again later. Not sure how turning it off really affects the sensor, but you never know.
