Sorry, my digital camera is actually an old one given to me by a friend. I’ve had problems with it cause of the lid for the batteries being broken from being used before so I have to always hold it shut to keep the batteries from falling out, and it’s also taken a while for me to figure out how to use it. I don’t think it has an option for shutting off the flash.
Just FYI for people looking for Lotso, you an tell which certificate you are getting by looking at the back of the box. My Lotso from Target has a picture of the grumpy COA on the back, and when I was in TRU yesterday, I noticed that the picture on the back of the box there was the happy COA.
RoboDad is right. I didn’t really look at the back of the box yet when picking mine up, but that’s how you know which one you get. I’m thinking though that maybe they changed it for all the new Lotso toys to kind of emphasize on the fact that he’s the film’s villain (which is funny since the toy itself is so sweet and innocent with it’s voices).
I recently purchased a Disney Store Lotso for my teacher’s newborn son. It’s a relatively scaled plush doll, albeit slightly smaller than my TSC Woody, but I really love how it’s fur is exactly the same kind of shag-like fabric as the films. His strawberry scent is less overpowering than the collection version, but considering that I’m giving it to a baby, I’ll let it slide.
I got Twitch and Chunk in the mail today from the Disney store. Man they are awesome. I will apologize for no pics as I have no way to post pics at the moment. I think everyone will be very satisfied with these two bad boys. Here is a quick review of both…
Twitch is just about the same height as Buzz, probably taller. He has a swivel neck, ball jointed shoulders, hinged elbows, swivel wrists, twisty waist, hips are ball jointed, hinged knees hinged feet like blast off Buzz, Wings swing out but are not ball jointed.
Features: Push on his head and mandibles open, works pretty good. Push abdomen button and wings pop up, they make a clickity sound.
Twitch is very light weight almost like the plastic the shogun warriors godzilla is made of, but he is plenty sturdy. No real painted highlights other than the orange on the legs and feet. I love him and wish I could have more of these insect warrior characters in this scale.
Chunk is short and stocky. He has cut shoulders, swivel biceps, hinged elbows, swivel waist, cut hips, hinged knees.
Features: Push button on head and face rolls to mean face and so on, as head rolls little “rocks” rattle in his head.
Chunk is also very light weight but sturdy in construction with sturdy joints. His rock body has painted high lights here and there. He is just a great toy also making me long for more characters from this rocky world. They arrived in like two days after I ordered.
I fixed some problems on my TSC Woody today. I replaces the buttons on him where were incorrect with the wider, thinner more accurate ones from the rag doll woody. I also took the pull string loop off and am looking for a smaller ring. anyone know where to find one?
I really like the 12" Twitch so far. I mean, the sculp looks awesome, and the features are actually interesting, and done without electronics. If he ever becomes a Toy Story Collection character, I’d wish for some shinier plastic, as well as more vibrant paint. Making his buttons more discreet, too. Also, they’d probably add a voice function, too, with his voicebox probably under his wings.
In person the paint is pretty darn vibrant. As for shinier plastic, he isnt that shiny in the movies, not much more than this figure. Only thing i wish he had was his staff
40 Disney D23 Members will get a spot in line at the Disney Store, Chicago to purchase a limited edition Jessie doll with box or C of A signed by Joan Cusack.
Someone should ask her if she voiced the toy! if for some reason she doesn’t remember (they spend many hours in the booth recording for all sorts of things afterall), just pull the string in front of her, see if she can tell.
I’m not! They are all in Woody’s box. I doubt I will display them either. For me ut’s all about the toy. I don’t need to show a certificate to say how great they are. I already know.
for me i place the toys box behind it and then lay the COA in front of it [url]Twitpic and Nachozrule i’ve never even heard of that hamm, at least don’t remeber hearing about it.
"Sorry if this has already been posted, and sorry for not responding to PlayNice, but has anyone noticed this Hamm? "
That ham is a small plastic version with a hinged mouth. Its a nice replica but definitely not to scale. The cork on the bottom is a plastic synthetic piece, it does function as a bank but, the larger resin acrylic one sold at $ 19.95 with the tilted head is a better representation and in scale to the TSC collectibles.
