I’ve stated this before, but releasing Lotso makes a lot more sense. Unless by earlier you mean in earlier waves of the TSC.
Having Lotso out now is perfect marketing - people who know who he is want him, and when thousands of people see it tomorrow afternoon, he will be readily available for them to purchase.
Bullseye’s role in the films is minor anyways, so it makes sense that he’s been released later.

Toy Story usually is more popular with boys and no boy is going to choose a teddy bear over Bullseye.
True, but it worked on me - I see it as their way of trying to appeal to the girls. So many people have told me how cute Lotso is and how much they want one. As much as Toy Story’s fanbase is dominated by boys, it really makes sense to have a newer character out than Bullseye, as the new movie is being released.
Just got Hamm today at a Disney Store in Delaware on my way back from seeing “Weird Al” Yankovic in concert 
He’s very nice and quite larger than I expected. Not too much to say about him…
Can’t wait for tomorrow!

Like Woody, he can’t stand without the base. You can have him sit on his own, though.
Haha, Hamm… Yeah the concert was really great, and Al was pretty much what I expected height-wise… I had 2nd row seats and got to meet him and his band (VIP package)

There always has to be a flaw in the TSC. I had a feeling Bullseye wasn’t going to be perfect.
I did. Yesterday. I choose Lotso over Bullseye (even though he wasn’t there.). And I’m a boy.
And what exactly is this flaw? That he can’t stand up by himself?

Is the visor detachable? If so, they’ll probably send you a new one without question.
