Yeah, the head connected makes it easier to articulate and had better balance, but the old style with the head disconnected (not literally!), like the old one is more film accurate (it’s similar to how the hands were put in), and just stands up better.
The TSC version has holes too. their just behind the hat instead of on top. its to prevent kids from creating a suction cup and suffocating or something.
back to bullseye though, wouldn’t it depend on where the eyes were secured at? if its in the middle then the tops of the eyes would have to move with it (outward). iit were attached at the top of the eye the bottoms would move in closer. if its attached at the bottom, thtat wouldn’t help at all.
Sorry that this is so off-topic, but has anyone realized that the TSC RC’s eyes are the wrong color? In the movie they seem to be dark blue but in the toy they are black.

In this photo, they look black as well.
I guess we’ll have to wait to get Bullseye to know for sure, but I’m convinced that there will be a way to fix this without damaging the doll.
That is NOT an original. It has a plastic base, not a wooden one, the handset cord is very different, the details on the stickers are all different, and the wheels are a different shape. In short, it isn’t even close to the look of the original.

There is some wiggle room in the angle of the eyes, but not much. Also, I think the eyes are supposed to be larger.
That looks pretty good but his eyes need to be lower on the snout. Not by much but lower. The top of his eyes should be just about in line with the start of his mane.
I think his eyes look really good on yours.
And WHAT are the Ren and Stimpy? Statues? They look really bad aye double ess, hahah.

Wow. That picture just made me go from accepting my Bullseye for how he is to wanting to return him immediately. He’s a hard figure to check for QC though since you can only see one side of him. The one I have looks great when you look at him from the side. What a nightmare that thing will be to tie back up into the box.
Took a clearer shot of mine and the eyes are not slanted whatsoever.
You know, considering that Thinkway push these as collectables the qc is pretty appalling. Why make the effort of making replica boxes, giving coa’s and using figure data if your item in the box is seemingly put together by a gibbon. It’s crazy that we will have to go through multiple figures to find one decent one. If you open the box to check it’s more than likely the staff at the store will go nuts. Add the fact buying online is a no go and the whole thing sucks.

There’s bullseye.
Seems the only problem is the eye placement, that they’re all stuck on weird. IT seems if they’re stuck on weird, they can be unstuck “easily” and replaced with a dallop of hot glue. Or, we can wait and see if the QC will be fixed, etc. Has anyone mailed thinkway the numerous pics from various sources showing the defect?
