Thinkway's Toy Story Collection

waw he haS “Push button to retract helmet” feature wich is cool, and the glow in the dark too…

but the design seems like the 95 one,but different wings and feature

Eh, they raised the price a little bit. I guess the $10 price was a fluke.

I can get an Air Freshner in the petrol station for £1 that does that!

Just got home with my latest toys.

Bullseye is v cool but again I had to go looking for a good one. Most had a wrinkled snout.

I was always unsure about Lotso but seeing as the Jessie’s have serious paint flaws I will wait for a drop in price. Lotso looks better in the flesh than pics suggest. Again each Lotso had some minor flaws but seemed restricted to eye placement, or so I thought. Upon getting mine out of the box I found he had a tear in the seam by his breastplate. You can see it in the pic below. I soon repaired it with a dozen stitches. The fact remains though that while a flaw in the occasional figure is one thing, a flaw in every other one just isn’t acceptable. Thinkway’s qc has been awful on this wave. I shudder to think how bad it will be if we get a third.

You can clearly see the tear between the fur.

I don’t think much of his smell either. My strawberries seem to have been through the digestive tract. If you get what I mean. :open_mouth:

What made you glad you picked up the TSC Jessie Eggy???
like you i was comparing the two in toys r us this morning and thought the mattel one looked alot better, clothing seemed nicer and the tsc one just looks too bloated.

only reason i want the collection version is for the stand and maybe the extra features. want to pick one up for my daughter but struggling to make a desicion.

Also whats thde latest on hamm anyone, going to ship a disney one over from the states via ebay but again worried that thinkway will bring theirs out or the other one will start appearing in UK disney stores

Hi, everyone.

I realize at this stage in the game it would be anyone’s guess, but I was just curious as to what everyone’s thoughts were concerning the possibility of TSC versions of Twitch, Chunk, and Sparks? Arguably not a whole much more can be done with Chunk, but Twitch could stand a few enhancements and Sparks would look amazing with some vac-metal parts and LEDs.

I’m guessing Thinkway haven’t revealed anything themselves, but figured you guys have been around long enough to offer some insight on their past habits. It seams like a no brainer, being that the sculpts are already there, but maybe it’s not worth it from a business standpoint to re-release such minor characters at the higher price point.

Where did you pick your new additions up in the end Claw? Bullseye looks great but I’m still not convinced by the Collection Lotso. Is he retailing at £40 too? Cheers!

It’s hard to say, but I really doubt that we’ll ever see TSC version of these characters. They didn’t have large enough roles in the film, and they never interacted much with our heroes, or with Andy or Bonnie.

I got them at Smyths in Romford. Lotso was indeed £40. I only need Jessie for the full collection now. I think Lotso is pretty good but you have to check for flaws the same as any other. If I could only get one, it would be bullseye.

It’s not a sure thing about any further tsc stuff anyway. I would think they would put Zurg and Stinky Pete before Chunk and co. From what I can gather, Chunk and co are pretty good anyway. I just hope they come to the UK soon or it’s eBay for me.

Is the TSC Buzz’s waist supposed to turn? I only just realized that the waist on mine doesn’t.

I think so. On mine you can turn Buzz’s upper body left or right and it can be bent upward or downward also.

That Bullseye is awesome. He’s much better than the Non-TSC version I’ve seen here cause he doesn’t have a stitched mouth (which Bullseye isn’t supposed to have in the film).

Yes the TSC Buzz’s waist is supposed to turn.

I agree on the Bullseye front, he’s fun to look at and I love the Woody’s Roundup theme feature. He’s huge though! I don’t even know where I am going to keep him, he’s in a temporary spot for now in my room.

Man, Bullseye looks phenomenal. I absolutely can’t wait to get my hands on one!

Does anyone know if the Target Exclusive single pack Aliens were released in Canada as well?

I would like to pick those up rather then the 3-pack but they are too expensive on ebay.

My apologies if I’m repeating something that’s already been discussed (trying to work my way through 200+ pages on this thread)…

but has THIS Lotso been released yet? I can’t seem to find him for sale anywhere online.

Thanks

Yes, he’s been released, but I don’t know if I would recommend him. He’s about 2 inches smaller than the TSC Lotso, and they used cheaper, painted eyes, rather than the clear eyes on the TSC version. And, of course, there is no strawberry scent .

It lists it at 12" but it could be wrong. There is also %10 on that website by entering “toystory” I believe. That info is on the sites main page.

The Mattel Jessie looks like she is in alive mode and the TSC version looks more like toy mode and the rest of the collection are in toy mode so she matches the toys I have. Yeah she is a bit fatter and her shirt doesn’t look as good. The bottom half looked better on TSC Jessie. There seemed to be alot of space in Jessies waist which could be trimmed to make her look slimmer.

On a seperate note I’m sat here looking at Bullseye and the more I look at him the mor eit looks like his eyes are in the wrong place.

Thanks for the Lotso info Tyler & Robodad. I already have the TSC one, but thinking I might want the other Thinkway one too… because I’m not 100% keen on the talking toys that wouldn’t have been talking toys in the movie. I still like them, but I felt like the non-talking versions would be more authentic.
