Stores where I live only usually stock Bucket of Soldiers, Woody or Buzz, but when the odd stores that have other toys, they will have HEAPS of them. There were an abundance of Rex and Bullsey… no sign of Jessie yet though 
Actually, I had no clue you had a tutorial for it. I had a screenshot from the trailer, and kinda eye-balled it. I took a nailfile with a small tip and un-did the knot on the ring, then tied the new ring on. What I did to keep the string from going into Woody with no ring on it was pull it all the way out, and clip it down. For once, I mananged to get step-by-step pictures from beginning to end, so I’ll try to post pics.
For the rings, they are very, very, tricky to find. I found at least 3 different brands, one was with Sewing tools, one was on an isle with knitting, and the one I picked up was intended for Windows. I would really suggest asking for 1" rings for drapes, because I had to walk up and down every isle.
And about the Alien, the squeeking doughnut’s squeaker is almost the same size as the sculpted “Squeeker”'s center, with the gridded part, so I took a drill bit about that same size, and drilled a hole. The squeeker fit in perfectly. For reference, yes, it’s the Target Exclusive and he squeezes just fine, you don’t have to squeeze really hard or anything.

That’s technically a pic of the Stand, but I’ll get a better one. And an “After” of the Alien’s new squeaker, I only have a “before” at the moment. I used that clip to keep the string from retreating into him while I was swapping the rings, and later I took the clips out to use it to hold up the wire for the stand so Woody would be able to stand up streight.
Great1, Unfortunatly I don’t have Jessie yet. I’ve seen her once or twice but I haven’t had the cash to pick her up yet. I’d love to get all the main “Andy’s Toys” from 3, and have a box for them labeled Sunnyside, so I plan to get her, I just haven’t had the chance yet. Oh, and i’ll get a good shot of Woody on his stand soon.
HawkingFord, If you are referring to the Donuts, they were just in this little area with the Clearance stuff in assorted racks, I was at another today, and I didn’t see any. If you meant the Stands, ask for doll clothes and stuff.

But from the sounds of it, you did exactly what I did on your own, which is awesome! The mod to make them super accurate is indeed super easy, and super fast to do. Glad to see others doing it. I love my 3 squeaking ones.
Didn’t know about that Tutorial, but that’s exactly what I did. I even have the same type Squeaker. And, I totally aggree. 100% cooler now. I don’t see doing this things as “Sid-y” because Sid used to Mutilate toys, but these things are improvements. We make them better, Sid made them worse. Except Babyface. Being a metal spider is cooler than being a plastic baby.
Anyway, here’s the other pics that were requested. The first is a bit blurry… but it’s because I didn’t use flash because it made it hard to see the stand. Oh, that Potato Head (because I know it’ll be asked) is my modified one, I fashioned bendy arms out of rubber wire coating, and wires. His eyes were separated and separate holes were drilled. Same for the feet.

There’s my improved Alien. Like I said, exactly like Tyler did it. If you have an Alien, I highly suggest you try it, there’s little chance of ruining you Alien, and it is so much better. Oh, Tyler. Which Aliens did you get? The 3 pack, or did you mix-n-match Target individuals? Just curious, I’ve got the “Ooohh” face, and I’m contemplating which other 2 to get.

Yeah, the Aliens are Single Packaged (all three faces, “Ooohh”, Open Mouth, and Closed Mouth) as Target exclusives. Their heads and hands glow in the dark, the main color of their uniforms is a darker color blue.
They are Exclusive to Target, and they run for $9.99 each. Not too bad, and you can pick which face you prefer. Definently worth it if you add a squeaker. Good luck!

I did it to the 3 pack aliens, (all 3). Very cool also that you did it with the Glow ones. There were some people wanting to know what the squeakers are like for both types, and now they know.
And I only called it “sid-y” becasue someone said that here once when I first started asking about modifications/replicas, hahah. Those too scared will just have to have non-squeak aliens.
My plan was to just buy a single pack alien, every week until I bought the store out, but I saw the movie and saw the significaance of the 3 pack, so eased up on that plan. (wanted to assemble an eventual pit of aliens) But I’m AOK with the 3 heroes.

Not a real one, but I was going to do a facade of one. I play claw machines everytime I see one, hahha.
Yeah, It’d be awesome to have a massive army of the Aliens, but right now I’m focusing on getting the three. I’ve only got one other squeaker, so that’ll be an issue. I’m trying to get the set in TS3, Woody, Buzz, Jessie, Bullseye, the 3 Aliens, Slink, Potato Head, Rex, and Hamm. Not sure about Ms. Potato Head, as they’ve never made one that looks remotly like the movie one. But to have all the remaining “Andy’s Toys” and have a box big enough for all of them makred “Sunnyside” and with a yellow Post-It with the Sycamore address. That’d just be awesome.
EDIT: Almost forgot to mention, I also picked up some cord today, so with one of the extra rings, I made sort of an “Pull String Accessory” for Woody to tie onto his real pull string. I figured since i’ve got so many extra rings, i’d be neat to be able to re-create like the big “Airplane Escape” from Toy Story 2, and when his string gets caught on Sid’s stair frame in the original. Just thought i’d be worth a mention.

there is also a button for it, which is above with the other buttons (bold, italic, underline, ect) when you make a post, or in your case, the signature.you will need to use the button that is called Img* and to make it appear around your url of your photo, just select the url and press the img* button.
and the end results should be what you want.
For UK collectors. Lotso,Jessie and Bullseye are now available at tru. Still no sign of full size Twitch and co at Disney stores yet.
i saw the collection jessie at my local disney store, didn’t see a price(i was rushed) but the three I saw weren’t all that great looking, i think this was stated a while back by someone but i’m begining to think jessie and bullseye were rushed to stores :s
For those of us who live in the uk…The Entertainer in the Birmingham Bullring now has Bullseyes, Potato Heads, Jessies, Woodys, Lotsos and RCs. The Bullseyes i saw looked pretty flawless. Didnt buy anything but might go back for Bullseye this week…
