Try turning it to off for a couple of minutes, then switch it to play. I believe there was a similar problem with Rex earlier where he wasn’t saying all of his lines till they switched him off for a while then switched it back. Could be a similar problem with Woody.
Ok got him turned off for now, will give it an hour or so, as I have tried doin it for a minute or 2 with no success other than being told to be quite… lol, thanks for advice, will post when I turn him back on, hopefully he wont start doing readings of the satanic bible…

Chances are you might have a defective woody If your not saying anything for him to say that.
Turn the switch to off. Remove the batteries. If your using the ones the toy came with, replace them. Wait for a minute or so then flick it to play mode. Worked with my Bullseye.
Does anyone notice that Buzz’s laser sounds a bit off? It sounds like it’s in “sniping mode” when Buzz holds the button down in the movies. Is it how it is or does it change sound when you put in real batteries?
I Was wondering is the buzz with the belt any good? because i saw him when i went to toys r us to get woody And im thinking about buying him
I think you will get mixed opinions on the Ultity Belt Buzz. The best thing to do is go with your gut feeling.
I have the buzz with the belt and I think hes great 
he has a whole other set of speech and sound effects to go with it is cool
For the original Eye hole, yes. Sculpy clay, then painted over it. For the leg hole, no. You can’t really see it unless he’s toppled over anyway, and it’s too big for clay, it’d just crumble up and fall out. (again, for those who don’t know, the foot hole is a track to have him standing at different angles. TS Potato Head just has 2 holes)
It’s interesting, everyone asking about messaging Thinkway. I got around to asking about Woody’s vest. Mine has several marks where the threads in the actual vest have been pulled, so there is loose strings coming off of the sides of it. As of right now, I am still waiting for a response.
EDIT: That’s really cool how Utility Buzz actually has different phrases and personality. It’s nice that Thinkway went the extra mile to have him as a different character, instead of just another TSC Buzz, but with an added belt.
Okay Thanks for the help. I am thinking of doing what you did to a TS3 Mrs. P and customize the eyes like Andy2010 did almost 200 pages back.

No problem. If you can, you should do it. It’s totally worth it, and aside from the mouth, that TS3 Potato Head will have everything to get you started.

Yeah, I think it would be better to stick with the original eyes. Now that we’ve seen Mrs. P in her toy mode, we can judge on how the Toy Story Collection version should be made.
I have boght the TOY STORY Collection Buzz and the utility belt buzz. Utility belt buzz says the things the TOY STORY 2 utility belt buzz says like “im Buzz lightyear im always sure” “your breaking rank ranger” stuff like that. He interacts with the belt. The belt has different sound effects and is so loud he almost viberats when his belt gose off lol He dident come with those little magnets or that cool boomerang the TOY STORY 2 Buzz had in the movie and the Certificate dosnet say TOY STORY 2 its the same one they used for the normal Buzz With that said remember that they are two different characters!. Utility belt Buzz is not one of Andys toys and still thinks hes “The real Buzz Lightyear” to this very day lol 
PS…mojohojo…If your Woodys is acting up now and giving you trouble new right out of the box thats just wrong!! Hes only going to get worse with time !! Just go to the store and tell them hes broke and that you wanna exchange him for a new one before your 30days are up on your store recite 
utility belt buzz is worth buying my brother has him and I have the original (actually i traded the utility belt one for the original because what’s the point of having two and the right wing was a pain to shut) anyway like everyone says it’s up to but I always thought he was one of my top favs anyway. He says quite a few different things than the original and with some of the sayings that are the same, the belt makes noises and lights with IE. laser power up etc
BTW when is wave 3 coming out? if zurg isnt in it i might have to go back to therapy
