i really dont want to be one of those guys that goes to target everyday looking for a TSC sale and i dont want to be one of those guys that misses a good sale.
what is the best thing to do to find out about target sales without wasting my time?

i suppose calling the store rather than going to the store each day might be the easier option. but other than that, there doesnt seem to be much of a way to find out, particularly since target.com does not match target in-store stock and prices at all.
from all the targets i’ve been to in the last weeks in so. cal, i haven’t seen any sales or clearance prices yet, even though stock levels have diminished. a lot of my targets have cut down TS stock to 3 4-ft. sections when there used to be about double that.
i’m just waiting to see if i can get a single alien on clearance since i don’t really want the 3-pack. we’ll see how it goes…

what is the problem?
scraches on his chest, wings, and helmet, his wrist communicator is hard to open and is chipped a little, poor paint jobs on certain area, and his left knee doesn’t seem to bend as much as his right knee. I’m actually going to post some pics soon
ok i just found out something incredible. i’ve been looking for answers about my $30 rex being in scale and got my answer;a strange answer. there was a TSC Rex a TRU and a $30 Rex that my 3 year old cousin got. i bought Tsc Rex , borrowed my cousins rex , got my rex out put them side by side:cousin rex is smaller than my rex and my rex is like an inch shorter than the TSC rex. so i went to my local TRU and saw the ones i bought and this what the tag said: TS REX $30 this is what the box said:Toys R Us exclusive! so if you want a non talking rex thats in scale look for TRU exclusive rex

If YOUR rex is an inch shorter than the Toy Story Collection Rex, than the Toys R Us Exclusive Rex is NOT in-scale.

My jessie keeps on saying her sayings when dont even pull her string. also I keep her on demo mode not play mode. does anyone have this problem?
Don’t just blindly send it to them without contacting them first, that would be stupid.
So, I finally took the plunge and chanced buying the best Jessie I could find so far. Her buttons were in line, hat looked fine, teeth mostly white. The only major things were her collar was a bit uneven (looked a bit twisted but possibly fix-able) and she has a slight line of green eye paint on one eyelid plus another mark of it on her nose.
On the face of it she looked the best I have seen so I took her as part of Argos’ current 3 for 2 on all Toy Story items offer:

However, from the front and in her boxed, seated postion she looked fine but from the back and in a standing postion she is very scewed and I think this reflects the twisted collar. She looks almost as though her pull-string hole has been punched too low on her body, bunching up her shoulder area. Are all Jessie’s like this or should I try to change her?
I will add a photo tonight to show what mine looks like, in the meantime does anyone have a photo of their Jessie’s back that they could share for me to compare please? Thanks for any help on that!
Does anyone also have a tip to remove small paint marks from the face area of the doll? I tried a wet wipe last night and even lightly scratching with a nail file but it wouldn’t go.
I also picked up Mr P and Lotso. Loving Mr P despite the eyes and legs issue. Lotso is also a lot better in the flesh but still leaves something to be desired. His nose is the main thing that is out for me. He needs a bigger, more solid nose as well as more stuffing in his legs.
Also a note to UK collectors: I have been waiting for the Disney Store to get Rex back in stock. They always tell me to keep checking online but I have only just realised that the Toys R Us site now lists TSC Rex as an exclusive. Meaning we have to pay 60GBP compared to the original price of 50GBP in Disney Store at Xmas time. Apart from Barbie and Ken he is the last one I need to add to my collection, the price is just outrageous though!
