It always bugs me how much the retail is for the TSC potato head. i just wish they would make a standard potato head for 10 bucks that was essesntailly the TSC one, but without the talking feature and parts that could go into any potato shell. (and bendy arms). hopefully that is what the “fall” potato head will be like.
Wal-Mart has the Utility Belt TSC Buzz for $47ish. I want the regular one. I’m thinking seriously about making a trip to Toys R Us to see if they have it.
people seem to find sales at right moment, place, and time. everytime i hit the store i either missed the sale or the toys are sold out. Is it just my local targets or is every target not have any toys in their toy section especially TSC
If I get more, I will do more reviews and you’ll all see them.
BTW, My Jessie has gotten kinda dirty over the months I’ve owned her and I’m wondering what you guys would think would be the best way to clean her. Obviously, throwing her in the washing machine is out of the question. My mother has suggested using a Tide Stick but I wanted to know what you people thought. The tag says she’s made of “Polyester fibers.”
Very awesome collection you guys. Mine is nothing compared to y’all but here it is. This is the set up in my room. The toy room has more Toy Story toys but my brother is currently occupying it right now. haha
I’m hoping to save up money to buy more soon.
my collection is literaly NOTHING compared to any of you guys’ collections!
i have disney store buzz and disney store woody (1995 woody), one single pack alien
with a squeeker, cheap potato head, BK lenny, and a plastic shark in which
the alien’s squeeker came from. Letting everyone know now that squeeky sharks are available at 5 Below stores. they are small though.
RC is very slow and will stop once its 4 feet away from the remote control. Woody can barely stand on his own with stand. his head is too heavy and legs cant spread so he is very ulikely to be able to sit on rc and even if he does he will fall immediatly when u ride rc.
Buzzs legs are not flexible or able to spread to make him sit on rc.
I’m not sure about other international locales, but Mattel Woody is almost as expensive as Thinkway Woody in Australia. Mattel Woody’s “regular” price is $70-80 and Thinkway Woody’s “regular” price is $90-100 (although he was marked down to $50.00 at some stores during our recent “July” toy sales).
Once you factor in shipping, Mattel Woody will probably cost quite a bit more than the Thinkway Woody.
Nice! It’s that Andy’s-room blue wall that really sells it. One thing, though, you’ll probably want to take Woody out of the stand, since people say it tends to dent the neck. I have mine just seated on the shelf, but you can buy a doll stand at a craft store that will hold him up under his arms and not damage anything.
I don’t know, it looks like some others were able to manage it:
Its true though, it took me forever to balance them on there like that. no way would they stay still once RC starts moving. not without tape or something. and as you can see Buzz has to lean upwards a bit since his legs dont bend quite enough.
For anyone who lives in SoCal and sees Mr. Potato Head on clearance at Target, please post it here! I’ve been visiting my target a lot in hopes to see him marked down, but no luck yet. And I sure will be posting if I see him on clearance!
I’ve been searching and calling all my local Target stores looking and waiting for Potato Head to go on clearance, and now all of a sudden they are completly devoid of all TSC and most Toy Story toys in general. What’s up with that? I really want to get the Spud, and I haven’t even gotten Buzz yet and apparently Target’s not gonna be doing the Toy Story stuff much longer, at least until the DVD/BluRay starts shipping. Apparently getting the rest of Andy’s Toys is going to get a lot more challenging than I’d hoped for…
What other toys do you need? If push comes to shove, I would turn to Toys R Us if you can’t find it at Target. Who knows if the Buzz they release in November will be the TSC one, but probably a non-accurate version. Since Target is not restocking, it only means they will clearance them soon.
Really, the new Toy Story 3 one? Oh well, but if you want a more price efficient Woody, as well as one that functions closer to the way in the movie, your best bet is the Thinkway Basic Talking Woody then.
