i got my rex it showed up today from amazon he does not have any proublems except the box is dirty like all light parts have been shoved in mud
Press the green button to turn off Buzz’s mic in toy mode. Woody unfortunately doesn’t seem to have this ability.
So woody is either constantly babbling things or I can’t listen to his string quotes? That sucks…are there any better woodies than the TSC one?
Well theres always the try me mode. I know thats more limited in phrases but it will still get out his basic phrases without the other stuff.
There is no other more accurate Woody than the TSC one.
So I go in circles, or left-to-right streaks?
Well, there’s always the basic Thinkway Woody, who does exactly what you described. He just lacks a detailed hat, proper jeans, and hair detail. Mattel has also made a Woody, rivaling the TSC line. Their Toy Story 3 version has up-to-date pull string phrases, too.

Long story short, I think she’s fantastic. The best Jessie ever! At 50 bucks though, she’s probably going to be the only TSC toy I get for a while. That is, unless we get a TSC Emeror Zurg. (Hint Hint, Thinkway!)

Nice review, I may just get one as a companion for Woody, and if they release the Prospector, I’m going for the set. The pictures were also nice (that last picture was deep), although, those buttons look pretty sloppy to me. I also don’t like the tag sticking out like that (at least they hid it on Woody). Eh, I guess there wasn’t a better place to put it.
Aside from my first impression nitpicks from my post above, I think her face is perfect and the boots look like an improvement over Woody’s (his were fine but on the bottom, the seems stuck out and the plastic was too smooth).

Always go circular in motion with a rubbing compound like this.
The TSC woody is the most film-accurate, You could always take his voicebox/pullstring mechanism out and swap it for one of the voicebox/pullstring’s found in one of the non-tsc models.
Nah, I’m not going gto do that, it would be too much work and I’d have to buy another woody. I’m just going to turn woody off and put him for display. Is there a way to make him stop reacting to your voice and environment?
My main question however, is it too late to start my collection? I want to order as little from the internet as possible. They still sell the main collection toys right? I’m mostly interested in Buzz, Woody, Rex, and Hamm.
Hey Dragonrider1227! Great review! I’ve been wanting the TSC Jessie for exactly the same reasons you mentioned in your review. I’ve been putting it off for quite some time now, but if Thinkway does release an authentic replica of Zurg then I sure will get them together to go along with my Buzz & Woody. Are you considering making more reviews?

Bullseye (TRU, DS) He is hard to find right now but as time goes on he’ll become easier, I found 4 yesterday and bought 2.
Rex (DS) Toys R Us may also carry him, but Disney Store is only where I’ve seen him…

WM = Walmart
So, Disney Store carries the most, but seems to only have a few in stock at a time… however it is the only place to get Hamm.
Toys R Us is good for most of the characters, but if you’re looking for Bucket o Soldiers, Alien 3-Pack, or RC, DON’T look in the Toy Story aisle. They’ll probably be under action figures.
Target is okay, I guess… they seem to have a lot of Woody’s, Buzz’s, and Mr. P’s in stock.
Walmart is good only for both Buzz’s, the Bucket o Soldiers, and tons of cheap versions of the toys.
You said Rex was one you wanted… like I said, I’ve seen him ONCE at a Disney Store… I’d recommend picking him up online, but if you really want to find them all in stores, I guess look in the Disney Store.
Nice review Dragonrider1227. Looking at the pics you posted remind me why I still haven’t added her to my collection. Her upper body is twisted. At first I thought it was typical bad button placement but the top button is in line with the centre of the shirt pattern. It’s the shirt that’s twisted. I have all the tsc so far but Jessie bugs me. I will have to, at some point, get her but only to complete the set. I don’t think she is good enough to dislodge my Mattel version from it’s display spot. I have all but given up on getting one I won’t have to modify in some way. Shame.
Where could i find the Mattel Woody?
I’ve thought about taking out his voicebox and just replacing it with more stuffing. Cuddlier, and the voicebox doesn’t have Tom Hanks’s voice anyway, so it’s kind of pointless anyway in my eyes. 
But I probably don’t want to mess with it, and Woody just isn’t Woody without a pullstring.
So, it appears demand for the toy story line in general has gone down. People have spotted TSC items marked for clearance. Someone bought Potato head for 8 bucks I hear. I did think this line would continue til through Christmas, but now I’m not so sure. I’d advise you guys buy the stuff you want now, don’t wait if you can afford it. orO if you want to take the risk you should start seeing price drops.
I just need to find (and be able to afford) Lotso and utility belt Buzz. and maybe 2 more single packs of the aliens.
