Thinkway's Toy Story Collection

Yes, I really hope it is.

YES.

Can someone tell us what his Twitter post said? I am not Twitter savvy.

My Jessie has gotten rather dirty and I would like to clean her but obviously, putting a 50 dollar electronic toy in the washing machine is right out so I was wondering what you people suggest. My mom has suggested a Tide stick. Would that work? According to her tag, she’s made of Polyester.

Could you take a picture of this?

“Just saw something that I think will make Toy Story fans REALLY happy.
about 18 hours ago via Twitterrific”

Most recent is

“Toy Story 3 has now been the #1 film in the UK for a SOLID MONTH! The UK is my new best friend.
about 3 hours ago via TweetDeck”

But now cleanmonk beat me to it since this website wanted to crash for 25 minutes. :imp:

ha ha…sorry. :unamused:

Pictures?

(I just love people’s pictures of their toys “interacting,” since I only have Woody and don’t plan to get the others. Plus I’m a sucker for the cute stuff like Buzz & Jessie—even though I don’t totally buy them [spoil]as a couple,[/spoil] I suspend my disbelief because [spoil]they are cute together[/spoil] :stuck_out_tongue:)

OH MY GOD WHY DOES THIS KEEP HAPPENING.

I returned my Buzz and got another one, my third one. I made sure his legs were straight from inside his box. I opened it up, and I noticed that his rubber thing is pushed back slightlly (I think) which exposes that white thing. Also, I got Buzz to bend his legs, but then some wierd noise happened, and now his right leg has the unbendable problem!! I now know there has to be a fix for this, as this is the third time this happened. What’s also worse, is that my Mom is no longer going to return it and let me get another one. Also, she won’t let me send it to Thinkway

This “weird noise,” was it a loud click? Bending my Buzz’s legs makes me feel like I will break him because it is so loud and there is a lot of pressure I am putting on him.

No worries, man. It’s not you, it’s my lame internet I think. I was gonna be cool, because I did some hunting and I found the twitter page and nobody posted about it yet. Then it wouldn’t let me into the site. Not your fault, it’s all good.

For Buzz’s torso, depending on how soft that material (i’m so lame that I don’t even have Buzz yet…), you should be able to push it back into place and glue it. But that sucks about his legs. In the pic, it looks like Buzz’s legs have the gap from the parts actually scuplted into his legs? Why would they do that instead of designing him like in the movie? Isn’t the easiset way to make his legs look like two pieces screwed together, actually screwing two pieces of his legs together? I don’t get that at all.

The weird noise was more like a crack, and after just slightly bending Buzz’s knees gently, his knee made the noise and now his leg won’t become striaght

I got Mr.Potato Head in the mail about 2 weeks ago and it’s a really great toy. Despite it’s inaccuracies (which I don’t care about anymore) it looks terrific. It definitely looks better than the overweight Jessie.

Sorry to keep everyone waiting, I was out of town all day, but here they are:

I plan to add the 4 DS plushs when they are restocked in October, buy two more Bucket’s of Soldiers to have the accurate 200 from the movie, so I’ve been told, and then add whatever comes out in Wave 3, leaving me with a hopefully satisfying Collection of the main characters. I think I have the Thinkway Bo Peep in a storage tub somewhere, and I have the BK wind up Lenny as well.

Oh, by the way, as you can see, my Collection is rather confined in its current location, and I have been looking at an alternative display method, big enough for all the toys and their boxes. I’ve been considering a 5 shelf bookcase, but I’m not sure if that would be large enough. Any suggestions or ideas?

Re: Display options

I’m a big fan of Ikea’s Detolf display cabinet:

Although, I actually use one of their larger bookcases which can be customised with glass doors and glass shelves to display my figure collection.

THAT IS SO AWESOME!!! You have every toy in Thinkway’s collection (which is all I aim to get) AND MORE <img src=“{SMILIES_PATH}/youwhaaa.gif” alt=“o_0;;” title="You

Whaaa…" />
I want all of those toys, I’m jealous.

At TRU, RC is $80, but at Target he’s $60. Only problem is my local TRU has him in-store but not my Target. So I’m ordering him online, but first I wanted to know if there’s any qc issues with him? I already know know he stops 4 feet from you, but that’s more of a design issue in all of them, not bad qc. Thanks.

With the ‘Toy Story Collection’ bit on the boxes. Is there a difference in the product if it has a white background as opposed to a blue with clouds background??

Ah, it should be interesting to see how a more accurate bucket would look. Plan to get a bigger bucket, like in the movie, and I’m pretty sure that wampar’s Bucket O Soliders label would fit on it. For the top, you can just scan and enlarge the decal that’s already on the top. If you need help on finding an accurate bucket, I can give you some measurements. And if you want to know all of the soldiers that are in the bucket I made a thread listing all of them a while ago.

Great question. I would also like to know about any quality control issues with RC.

I ordered mine online yesterday from amazon.com. It is cheaper at target.com but you have to pay for shipping.
