I’d rather the third wave come out sooner, but at least it is confirmed. And I guess that as long as it has at least one character I am interested in, I can’t complain.
I assume it will be so long because of Zurg. My bet is they know they are making him at least and are trying to figure out how to make him since he would be complicated to make functional.
i can amagine zurg would take some time to make but i really hope they make a slinky dog and stinky pete

Main things zurg needs to have is his box from the 2nd film, wheels on the bottom, a ‘Look here’ thing on the back of zurg’s head and a flashing mouth when he speaks.
well they make be working on his gun too, if they are indedmaking him. Zurg is a complex toy. We all know some of Buzz’z movie features cant happen on a real toy so zurg will likely have the same problems
I hope they can make a proper ION blaster with that as well.

I can’t see Zurg having flashing eyes AND a look here. I think the Z vision will be the one to appear.
I also think he will talk, have wheels, and be able to shoot maybe like 6 balls

You should’ve seen my baby cousin when he met the TSC Woody & Buzz. The pair scared the crap outta the kid. Now everytime I tell him I’ll bring the toys he thinks of the boogeyman. My nephew on the other hand loves them.

Awesome. This I can believe. I still wish we were getting more this year, but I guess I can understand. I wonder how late into the year it’ll be though. Any chance it could be early next year? Say, around March? Or maybe around May? I just hope we don’t have to wait til the later half, that would kill me.
If I had to guess, it would probably be right before the release of Cars 2 which includes a Toy Story short film. The short film will get peoples TS juices flowing.

2011 is definately fair. They were probably rushed with the boom of Toy Story 3 products, so I’d expect things to slow down.
Now, Zurg seems doable, as long as there’s not too many mechanics. In the movie, his features are Zurg vision, ion blaster, voice simulator (highly likely because of the resemblance to Buzz), and glowing eyes, mouth (which changes when he talks), and Z pendant. I’d expect a turning head to match with Buzz, and maybe a toy/alive mode (a switch could be hidden under his cape). The phrases would most-likely be activated by his pendant. The only thing that would be a challenge would be the ion blaster. I guess the trigger has to be small enough for Zurg himself to use it, so you’d probably have to squeeze his hand. They might even do motorized stuff with the wheels (I hope they keep it simple). This is only my predictions.
I doubt they can make it so both Zurg and you can shoot his blaster. I think it might be like you press a button at the top of his pack/gun and it’ll shoot one out
Actually, Zurg already has a big red button on his backpack thing that can be used as the button to active the ball-shooter. 
Good news… but I hate the waiting. I’d like to stop checking the internet for status and just buy them and be done with it. But I don’t want to stop checking because then I might miss them completely. Oh well.
