I thought it shot cardboard disks. I might be confusing that for something else. Might shoot what you said it shot. Also do you know how much it’s worth?
I believe it was originally about 20, but I have no clue what it would be now. I can’t imagine it would go for too much though, since it was never in the movies.
Ah, that was definately a cool toy. I used to have one, and it was just perfect. It had groovy music, Buzz Lightyear quotes (I think), pop-out wings, wheels, lights, and a disk launcher (which shot plastic disks, I’m pretty sure the same ones from the Interstellar/Infinity Buzz Lightyear). Sadly, it must’ve been donated a while ago with my Mr. Mike.
No biggie… I wasn’t mad about it. I didn’t mean to make it sound like the tip itself was bad… just that by the time I had gotten there they were obviously long gone. However, the day wasn’t a waste. We didn’t drive up there JUST for that. And I did appreciate the help… as they say, it’s the thought that counts… and the story ended well with me getting a great Bullseye in the end anyway!
I think I’m running out of luck here guys. My local Target doesn’t have the TSC figures, only the Playtime figures. When do they normally restock?
Anybody have some tips on making the current Slinky Dog more TSC-ish?
Other than removing the rope from his face, of course. lol
^^^^
I think some people have also coloured the under-side of his ears (brown instead of white) and either stretched or shortened his tail (I can’t remember which one).
One or two fans have also filled in the hole left after the string is removed.
Yeah, it’s quite easy to fix 'em up, if you have some decent materials. I used woodfiller to fill the hole, and it isn’t perfect, but it’s good enough for my tastes. The only problems that suffice after mods are stimpy legs and non-leather ears, a major and a minor problem, respectively.
ArtsBoi14,
Your best bet is to get them off amazon to be honest. Cheaper and they have everyone in the collection in stock.
Lone Star,
I just got my bullseye yesterday in the mail and it’s sweet! It only took 2 days for me to get it. He’s bigger than i imagined him to be, but he’s probably the most accurate in the collection i don’t see one flaw on him. I’ll post pics of the whole collection when i receive the rest.
Thanks Joffner, I will check out Amazon right now.
ArtsBoi14,
If I were you i would hold off on getting them on amazon right now. I just bought the whole collection the other day and Woody,Jessie,Lotso, and Mr potato head were all $10 cheaper than they are right now. Just keep checking back and see if their prices drop which they do alot. But If i were you i would jump on bullseye for $50 if you don’t have him, because he seems hard to get and thats by far the cheapest I seen him.
I like the idea of removing the rope from Skink’s face. It’s bugged me since I got it. How would I go around removing that? Just curious if anyone here’s tried. I don’t want to possibly break his head.
(i RLY wish they had made a movie-like Slinky [even for $40+] just having a great quality one like the rest of the high-end TSC toys would have been so nice)
I can’t think of any slink owners here who haven’t. just snip it. not much to it.
Would you know if they are gonna get abit cheaper around Black Friday on Amazon and the stores? Just curious, because I’d like to try getting these before or after Christmas.
Yeah i guarentee their cheaper come black friday/holiday season if you can wait that long. i would still check every so often just in case they have a big sale.

Yeah, he really is a great toy. I think I read earlier that you were wondering about getting the Disney Store Hamm or not. Aside from Woody and Buzz (gotta have those two) and now Bullseye, Hamm has been my favorite addition to my collection. I know he’s not done by Thinkway, but he’s perfect in almost every other way. The ONLY drawback is that his head isn’t straight, but that’s not that big a deal to me. It kind of gives him more character when displayed next to the other characters. None of the others are really in the “official” toy mold anyway… (like Woody not having the closed mouth.) Besides, I doubt that Thinkway will ever make one, and if they do… you’ve only “wasted” $20 on an awesome Disney Store collectible Hamm that will probably increase in value over time.
lone star
yeah no collection is complete without hamm and slinky, I think im going to pick hamm up next week, but i’m going to hold out on slinky for awhile in hopes of someone making a more accurate one.
I agree. The Slinky that’s out I really don’t care for… but I did go ahead and buy it. Found it for $12 at Wal-Mart, but if a better version ever comes out, you can be sure I’ll be all over that.
It’s funny how the Slinky Dog has a hole made for the string, when they put it in between his eyes. What were they thinking?
