I actually came across Woody and Buzz from the Toy Story Collection while I was shopping today, but I didn’t have enough money for both so I was left with the dilemma of which one to take (sound familiar? 
). Since there was only one left of Buzz I ended up getting him, as well as the Green Army Men bucket. To actually be buying toys of the characters after so many years almost felt like being a kid again, since I used to have a lot of them back when the original film came out.
Just being curious, what do you guys think about the Toy Story Collection Buzz? I know this has definitely been stated before, but I just want a reminder of the overall consensus. I got a Woody and I am extremely pleased with him, but I’m debating whether I need to get Buzz too. Is he worth the cost?
You still havnt bought him? yes, he’s worth it, more so than woody or any of the others out so far. and I’d be willing to bet the quality control has gotten better since its original release, but I cant confirm.
go for it. buzz is pretty spot on with everything. glow in the dark trim, light up and pop out wings, laser, he evn quotes the movie, and hell respond to you when you talk. i had him conversing with the rex i have thru the response ability and it was pretty cool. but buzz is very accurate and definetly woth it
Awesome, thanks guys! I definitely want Buzz Lightyear, and I do agree that out of all the other TSC toys, he’s probably the most you get out from your money. I think I will have to pick him up sometime this week then, or at least before Toy Story 3.
I think my only issue since I’m in Canada, the box includes English text and French text, so it’s not exactly like the one in the film. I know it shouldn’t bother me, but this is probably one of the biggest reasons why I’m hesitant to pick him up.
i know what you mean being in canada myself, but didn’t find it to be really much of a problem to me
Yeah, I know Pieman411. It’s not the about the box, its about the toys themselves. But I don’t know. When I got the bucket O soldiers here, I was kind of disappointed that I was unable to display it nicely since the text that had the most American flag background was in french (“bucket O soldats”) and the certificate of Authenticity had both translations making the text really small.

Yes. Call or email technical support at Thinkway Toys and they should give you a replacement pair.

i just got the Woody in the mail today. he’s pretty cool, only the switch is kind of in an awkward spot to reach but its really not that big a deal.
