They have several spanish buzzes at my disney store…and utility belt buzz was a different character, not a messed up version of the main, i doubt its in the third wave
Good and not so good news. I emailed Thinkway to ask about the progress of Wave 3, and I received this as a response:
Thank you for your interest in our Toy Story Collection toys. There will be more new characters added in fall 2011 but the selection has not been finalized.

The good news is they’re still planning on this wave being produced, despite the nay-sayers out there that think it won’t come, but the not so good news is that they aren’t being released until fall of next year. This makes me a little concerned, as with the movie having been out for more than a year at that point, will there be enough demand for retailers to purchase these in large enough quantities so that everyone can get one or will this end up being one of those typical “last wave of a toy line” syndromes, where each store that buys them only gets one or two cases, and some eBay reseller buys them out of the back-room and then charges a 200% markup on the Internet because of their rarity?
I don’t see the time frame being much of a problem. Toy Story toys have pretty much been in constant production since the first film came out. Just over a year later, there will certainly still be interest in Toy Story 3 stuff. There may not be any big fancy displays for whatever they happen to put out by that point, but I don’t think finding the new toys will be too much of an issue. Heck, Toys R Us still sells WALL-E toys, and it’s been much longer than a year since that film came out. and there haven’t even been any new toys added to that line.
Also, if Disney happens to release a 3D Blu-Ray of Toy Story 3, Wave 3 could be timed to coincide with that.
Karate Action Buzz is $15 on Amazon today. [url]Amazon.com Not as great as $15 Potato Head, but still a deal!
That’s a good point, I hadn’t thought about the possibility of a 3D Blu-ray release.
What my main concern is, at all the stores I frequent, it seems to me like the Toy Story aisle always has the same stuff just sitting there, which could very well be my imagination because I don’t take note of everything. My Toys R Us also has the WALL-E stuff as well, but it’s in their clearance section which also doesn’t move very frequently, but I think you’re right. I do remember there being TS toys in the years between 2 and 3, like all of the Toy Story and Beyond merchandise, so hopefully this line will stay around for awhile longer.
I agree. My Toys R Us still sells Wall-E toys too, not a lot of people buy them, it seems And I don’t see it being a problem for the time frame, seeing Toy Story toys go by quickly on the shelves…
15 dollars for a potato head amazing! thats a deal i havent ordered him yet since im low on cash but now that he is 15 im most likely gonna order him.
um sorry if this is double posting but i have a little question the potato head for 15 bucks does he come with a box or is he used cause i found this on amazon amazon.com/Disney-Pixar-Toy- … 02_01_t_lh
And wanted to know why one cost 15 and the other cost 57 just asking ive never bought items online before other then ordering replacement parts for things i broke when i was younger.
That ones not sold by Amazon it is sold by benstoybox which is a 3rd party seller.
I have not seen one of the spanish buzzs in person, but think the collection spanish version would be cool. The same box but with spanish on the box. Also as I said before have the toy mode be the same as the other buzz lightyears but then the space ranger mode be all in spanish.
If it’s sold by Amazon, you can trust the quality and trust that it’s new in the box. If it wasn’t or it wasn’t up to par, they would accept a return.
But don’t worry, it’s sold by Amazon so it will be minty fresh in its box.
Amazon has bumped the price back up to $50
[EDIT] Wait, no, they reduced it back down again. My bad!
well the thing that confuses me is amazon has 1 potato head tsc but with 2 diffrent prices one is 57 and one is 15 thats what confuses me why have the same product for 2 diffrent prices i just want to know if the cheaper one is used or what because the ratings on it are also low well im just wondering why the same product is going for 2 diffrent prices.
Amazon allows third party sellers to use their site as their own storefront, which is why you will see multiple listings and prices for the same items. The $15 Potato Head is being sold by Amazon directly (you can tell because it doesn’t say ‘sold by’ and then another store name). Also, only items sold by Amazon directly qualify for the free shipping, which Potato Head does!
thanks teamlightyear youve been a big help i now understand im gonna go ahead and order him
Thats not the 10 inch sparks, its some Hot wheels car playset thing.
Oops! Dumb! I read the description as 10" and jumped the gun.
As for the $15 Mr. Potato Head he is sold under the Amazon PRIME. There is only one style talking TS3 Mr. Potato as far as I know. So it should be the same one as the one being sold $57.
EDIT: Ordered it 24 hours agoand it was just delivered!!! It IS the Toy Story Collection Talking Mr. Potato Head.
omg awsome so it was mint in box im waiting for mine
