Obviously, the 19in ones aren’t the correct size, but the zipper is good and the peas are kind of round as they should be.
But if you will display them in your shelf, maybe the 8 in ones are better for you.
haha Well, I took my scissors check the thing that placed the hat in place, it was green thread you’ll need to cut all three threads outside in order to get them out, it was easy, but be careful with the spines, then, just take a green thread and a needle and just sew it to the correct place. PIece of cake
That’s not the first one we’ve seen like this, someone else on Sideshow’s message boards had one like that as well. It was a mystery then as well. one thing’s for sure though, a closed mouth rex is super rare.
My mr P was maybe like yours, but I removed the hat and placed it in the correct place. I think thinkway placed there in all of them

How did you remove it I suck at doing those kind of things I get so nervous.

Could we see a picture of how it turned out?
My hat seems to be on the right angle on Mr. Pricklepants head. But some of my Toy Story Collection items are different like my woody. When you pull his string his voice is at a slower pace then other TSC even with new, fresh batteries in it. Also I’ve noticed that on my Jessie, her neck is a little longer and waist is a little thinner. also her hair doesn’t fall in a diagonal line when it falls down from the main like other TSC it’s more circled like in the movie (so I guess its beneficial!!!) I don’t knnow if it’s because I bought inner at the Disney store but her boxes and certificate is different languages from around Europe so maybe that’s why, it’s a mystery that will possibly be never solved I guess . . .
I finally completed re-arranging my display shelves on the weekend to allocate space for my TSC Toy Story collection and released all of my toys from their plastic and cardboard prisons.
BUT, my TSC Buzz Lightyear is faulty - the right wing does not extend and “pop out”. Is this a common fault and does anyone know how to fix it?
I can manually get the right wing to extend by pressing a very small white button/tab, but I can’t figure out how to manually get the wing to remain “popped out”. At the moment, my Buzz Lightyear has one fully extended and “popped out” left wing and one half-size right wing which just hangs limply from the back pack.
As I paid well over $100.00 for Buzz Lightyear when it was originally released in Australia, the fact that a “main” feature of the figure doesn’t work is pretty disappointing.
Re: “Beanie” Stinky Pete the Prospector
Has anyone created a “Stinky Pete the Prospector” box graphic/cover art that is scaled for the small 8-9" “Beanie” Stinky Pete the Prospector? I managed to grab one from Ebay for a somewhat reasonable amount, but it really looks small when displayed “loose” next to the TSC Woody, Jessie and Bullsye.
I was hoping to take a standard cardboard box, cut a “window” in it and basically print and glue the box graphic onto the plain cardboard box. I think it would display better in the box since it is “screen-accurate” apart from the size and would help to “hide” the fact that it isn’t in-scale.
Is it just me or are the ebay sellers from Hong Kong getting more greedy!! When I bought my Japan peas in a pod from this seller on ebay I paid 60$ which I thought was crazy, but I wanted them, now he has them for sale for $69.99 plus $9.99 to ship!!! I hope no one buys any more from him!!
yeah…he refunded my money saying he had no more stock. Curious that as soon as I could no longer leave feedback they were back in stock and the price bumped up. I’m sure he is at it so won’t deal with him. I hesitated paying $56 so certainly ain’t paying $80 for them. If they were 100% accurate I’d have bitten, but I’m happy enough with my £7 inacurate disney story peas…I see no need to pay $80 for innacurate japanese peas. Someone eventually will pay it.
^^ Lucky Mr. Potato Head!! I had the same sinario when it came to Lenny I luckily got him when I went to see the show on ice back in 2005 for a price of about 5.00!!
I was sort of hoping to get Japanese Peas but to be honest I feel a bit bad paying all of these prices on Ebay for toy s that sometimes can be a rip off. So I don’t feel like paying a lot more money for the Japanese peas wherem I can get some from the Disney Store that looks near enough the same for a good price! Haha
The first one refers to being in Toy Story 3 but the second one looks a more accurate model because it’s not grinning. Quite expensive but I reckon it’s worth it for those who are interested. Do you guys reckon Thinkway will release a TSC version?
Maybe yes, because in some scenes, buttercup is near totoro and reaches the grey part over his belly and up to that point it is about 10 inches and if you count the ears, yes, he is 16 in
I’m more than certain that Thinkway won’t go anywhere near Totoro, mainly because there’s already a Ghibli-approved plush out there and he was only on-screen for a few minutes all up.
My Totoro (the same one as the second link above) is ridiculously well made, the stuffing’s a lot firmer than regular plushies and he just looks so good. Well worth the price just to own one, let along own one for your TS collection.
Just an update to the above. I sent an email to Thinkway describing the fault and their customer service representative responded with clear instructions about how to fix the fault. And it was easily fixed! I’m very pleased that I now have a fully functional Buzz Lightyear. And appreciative of Thinkway’s excellent customer service.
