Thinkway's Toy Story Collection

^^ I’m glad you’ve fixed your Buzz Agent 86, but would you mind telling me how you fixed it because I think I’ve the same problem as you with the right wing???

^^^^

Press the “big red button” to release the wings.

Lay the figure “face down” and gently pull up on the bottom of the “back pack” (not the wings, just the back pack). The back pack was apparently designed to be easily removed and replaced. The back pack on my figure came off quite easily, but I would still recommend taking care so that you don’t “break” the attachments.

The wings each have a round “O” shaped piece (with a hole in the centre) which is meant to sit over a round “pole” (both of which are normally “hidden” from sigh by the back pack. The right wing on my figure had come “loose” so I just needed to push the round “O” piece back over the round “pole” until it was firmly in place. It is the round “pole” which activates the “pop out” wing action, so unless the wing is properly attached, then it will just hang “loose”.

Then replace the back pack by gently snapping it back into place (using the attachments near the shoulder/neck area).

Good luck!

Does anybody here knows how many toys from wave 3 were made?

^3: Mr. Pricklepants, Dolly, and Buttercup.

I have an extra Mr. PP and im not sure what to do with it. Should i hold on to it?

If you’re willing to ship it, I’m sure some people on this board wouldn’t mind buying it from you :stuck_out_tongue:

well if anyone is willing to email me and well talk.

I’m going to Australia in two weeks - bringing my computer out there though so I can still post on this!!! - But does any one know if Twitch, Chunk, Sparks, Rex or The barbie and ken made for eachother gift set is still selling in target stores??? I’m desperately trying to get them but I don’t feel comfortable paying 50 odd pounds for them on eBay!!! 8D

Twitch, Chunk and Sparks have never turned up in Australia and I don’t think Target’s ever stocked Rex, but Barbie and Ken might be in some of the larger stores… what part of Australia are you visiting?

I’m going to adelaide. I know that there’s a target nearby but I’m not entirely sure if it’s big or not.

Thank you but, what I mean is, how many of each toy were made
Example: 2,000.

I’m sure I read somewhere it was 3000

Re: Toy Story toys available at Targets in Australia

As Draik said, we’ve never received Thinkway’s (non TSC) versions of Twitch, Chunk and Sparks in Australia.

I don’t recall ever seeing Rex at Target and I haven’t seen a Rex on a shelf at any toy store in Australia (e.g. Mr Toys, Toyworld, Toys R Us, Myer, David Jones, Big W, K-Mart, etc) in well over a year, if not longer.

I vaguely recall seeing the “Made for Each Other” set at Target (and other stores) once upon a time, but the “Hawaiian Vacation” is clogging the shelves at the moment and I don’t recall seeing a “Made for Each Other” two-pack in a long time, possibly a year or more.

Ah well, I’ll still make sure to look, its really the barbie and ken I’m after. I think I might actually get the Haiiwaiin Vacation dolls and then buy Great shape barbie and animal lovin clothes sepretley??? I’ve seen them come and go on eBay quite the few times. and to be honest, I’m a bit put off by Barbie spandex outfit in the recently made dolls. Its way too shiny and is completely the wrong colour. Just one last thing to ask though guys, how much are the hawaiian vacation set?

The problem with buying the clothes separately is that maybe they are not the original ones, so be careful to choose them
My barbie clothes WERE shiny, but with all the things that happen in a month, the colour is now very accurate.
I bougth the barbie and ken hawaiian vacation at $27.99 us dollars, so maybe you will find them at $27 australian dollars at a toy store.

Re: Hawaiian Vacation in Australia

I think the regular retail price is $50.00, but for better or worse, our retail market has gone “mad” for sales in the last year or two, so it’s common to see sales for “20% off Barbie” or “30% off Toy Story” (and the Hawaiian Vacation set would classify as both Barbie and Toy Story), so it is possible to get it cheaper.

If you do look for it in Australia stores, you’ll need to look both in the “boys toys” ailse (with other Toy Story merchandise) and in the “girls toys - Barbie” aisle as different stores seem to classify the sets differently.

Re: Loose Ken and Barbie clothes

I think it might be somewhat easy to grab a “Great Shape” Barbie, particularly one that isn’t the “blonde hair, blue eyed” version and simply steal the clothes from that Barbie.

Ken is another story. It would probably be easy enough to find one of the many outfits that he wore in Toy Story 3, but if you’re after the “Animal Lovin” clothes, then they seem to still be pretty popular and expensive on Ebay (I know I’m keeping an eye out as I originally thought the “Made for Each Other” set was close enough, but it is terribly off-model).

Yeah, the only problem I have is that I really wanted to get the made for each other set but in the U.K they seem to of all disappeared. Stores are now just full of the Hawaiian Vacation ones and the prices for them on ebay are pretty disgusting. I reckon Ill go with my gut feeling and go and buy the Hawaiian Vacation Dolls. Then get Barbie Great shape clothes and Kens animal lovin’ set. Does anyone know if Ken and Barbie are in Small Fry (although I doubt it) Still I do think that if Barbie and Ken do come back into the Toy Story franchise they won’t be returning to the main outfits in toy story 3 because as fashionable as Mattels Barbie and Ken are with clothes I think it would be their goal to keep moving ahead and never look back fashion wise! 8D

No they’re not, they’ll probably appear in another one though.

I hope so, ken leaves me in tears and I think they are both too loved now by the public for pixar to write them out.

Just a question about the London Toy Fair last year, if anyone knows, were the TSC toys exhibited by Vivid Toy Group?
