Hopefully though, we do get them in the summer because I’ve emailed Thinkway and they are still telling me about a TSC wave 4 
Maybe Thinkway are holding back for the NYC toy fair next month? If they do that then that’ll pretty much confirm that wave 4 will be released in the US as opposed to wave 3 which was pretty much only Britain and a small amount in Australia.
I wouldn’t worry too much until next month’s toy fair is up and running. If there’s nothing there from Thinkway, then we can start to wonder what’s going on.

I’m not sure Thinkway attend the New York Toy Fair. They don’t appear to be on the list of exhibitors and I don’t recall them attending last year:
I emailed thinkaway toys and they told me that they have no plan to release a tc zurg, stinky pete or Trixie. That was a email I got this morning 
Thinkway don’t attend the US toy Fair. I doubt we will ever see a wave 4, they’re not holding it back or anything like that. The thing to remember is that UK toy fair is not like Comic-Con…it’s a show for retailer buyers to go a view new product that to put no their retail shelves…as such it makes no sense for Vivid to not put on display something that Thinkway have got coming later this year. The logical conclusion is that the Zurg, Big bay and Twitch I saw last year were indeed prototypes that will forever be locked away in an archive (or until a new Toy Story fim)
The only possible light at the end of the tunnel (it’s a small light…about the size of Christmas tree light) is that the range has become a retailer exclusive…if this was the case then the line wouldn’t be shown at a public toy fair…it would most certainly be kept under wraps…However Wave 3 was only available in a few UK store and not at all in the US…if I were a buyer I wouldn’t buy into the range…it just hasn’t been sucessful beyond the core characters and seeing as the characters we want to come out are secondary characters the chances are slim that we will see anything. Again if the range has become a retailer eclusive expect to see re-issues of the existing range…Woody ,Buzz etc… rather than new characters. The exception to this I think would be the Disney Store but they passed on wave 3 so again don’t hold your breath.
Look I realy hope I’m wrong and we do get wave 4 but the reality is that no toys at toy fair = no toys at retail
I agree with Doomseeker. Now that the Toy Story series is pretty much done, high-end collectibles for it are becoming less and less in demand, especially of characters who aren’t regularly featured in the Toons. I’d say Trixie might have a small chance of being produced, but outside of her, I doubt we’d ever see much more. Just think back to the type of merchandise we saw in between TS2 and TS3. New stuff was few and far between, and most of it was variants of Woody, Buzz, and Jessie.
Maybe if a company like Sideshow that markets exclusively to collectors instead of kids picked up the license, other stuff might get made. But with the franchise no longer in the spotlight, that’s also a real longshot.
I agree, im seriously doubting a wave 4 (even if thinkway say there will be one)
Although i dont want it,i think theres bound to be a story 4 at sometime in the future.It raked in the cash for disney,so im sure they might pressure pixar into making one (a bit like cars 2)
Why would you think that there is a chance for Trixie???
Twitch, Zurg, Big Baby and Hamm all have prototypes that have been seen and trixie has nothing…based on that evidence she is the LEAST likely to have a toy made. Why would Thinkway produce 1 toy…it would need to be 3-4 to constitute a wave and something to commercially shout about.

I just feel as though I’m trying to get from A to B with Thinkway and I just keep going around in circles and coming back to A. I love the items that they’ve made and all but it seems to me that what they’re telling us about Wave 4 is just a load of rubbish. However if these shorts become more and more popular, theres a chance that we may see some characters produced like say a Trixie but it will just probably be produced from other companies I do truly and honestly believe now that the line is over. after all the initial goal was to just produce andys toys like as thouughtheywere in the movie world. I think thinkway are giving up because they realise that the list of characters for them to produce would be endless and now they’re moving on to stunt chaser and Happy feet 2 products so I think they’ve packed their bags with Toy Story Collection . It’s a shame but still I will just keep my eyes open until the end of 2012 . If nothing’s come bout since then, I’m just gonna move on and make the darn toys myself!!!

Some bad news Gang,
Unfortunately my worst fears have been realized. This is quite possibly the end of Toy Story Collection. The new wave 4 that is conformed is not part of the Toy Story Collection line but possibly rather another version Buzz, Woody and Jessie. No more Toy Story Collection items are planned for this year and quite possibly forever. 
I emailed Thinkway about all the Toy Story Collection items that basically every one mentioned in this forum. Zurg, Trixie, Pete you name it. They replied:
‘We will not be releasing any new Toy Story Collection toys this year.
Toys seen at the UK Toy Fair last year were intended for wave 3, but it all depended on the support received from the retailers.
We appreciate your interest in the Toy Story Collection line of toys but no further information is available at this time.’
So there we have it. I’m gonna start to buy my familiar air-drying clay and will start getting to grips with new projects like Trixie, Chuckles and Pete. Sorry to be the bringer of bad news . . .

If this is the end of TSC its not like we didnt see it coming.

I doubt it,but TSC may just carry on in the UK,as Wave 3 hasnt even reached USA.
Yeah, I don’t want this to be the end of seeing TSC it’s just may be the end of the line but still, I’d want to still see them in my local Toys R US!
I know some of you just like me have contacted Thinkway but has anyone contacted Vivid yet, to see what they say ? It is true early in the year Vivid said yes to Wave 3 Thinkway said no.
What I dont get about Thinkway is that they said that THEY have Shipped Wave 3 to Disney Store and its up to them. but y dont they have wave 3 on the website?

Just sent the email ( I was sure to use that exact same that I sent to Thinkway) and asked them about TSC Trixie, Chuckles, Mrs. Potato Head, Evil Emperor Zurg & Stinky Pete. I agree though, I was watching Toy Story 3 and 2 today and was thinking sad thoughts about the fact that we may see no Zurg, Pete trixie or mrs. p
