I’m asking because when I tried to buy Mr. Mike form amazon US, it wouldn’t let me because it couldn’t ship to my home address but some of you folks say that you bought the TSC Wave 3 on Amazon UK and they shipped to America just fine, I just wanna now if these guys do the same because the prices for these two over here are ridiculous!?!
I finally made my order for Wave 3 from The Entertainer. Total cost with shipping to the US was like $95 or $31 for each. I figured that wasn’t too bad considering these probably won’t make it to the US. They were shipped so hopefully I should get them this week or next.
I’ve noticed a few people with the Troikas. Is the user on here that made them still selling them? If so, how much do they charge?
Also, in November 2010 I spent the day at Pixar Studios and got to screen Toy Story 3 at the Pixar theatre where they do their dalies… oh, and I met this guy named Lee Unkrich 
I’m with everyone in this forum who desperately wants more TSC toys…but Thinkway themselves, the MANUFACTURERS of the toys have said “no more!!!” Why would Vivid who are only distributers of Thinkways toys say any differently??? The line is DEAD!!! Hate to say it but it’s true!!
Whelp, then we might as well close this forum and be done with it then. 
Seriously, if people want to hold out hope that their might be more toys in the future, let 'em. Honestly, what’s it going to hurt? I’m not holding my breath, but if there are people that are, more power to them.
I don’t see anymore toys coming but we can still share pictures and deals on the forum and Slink is still getting toys made so it’s pretty smart to stick around.
True, I think we should still stick around here because after all even though it may be the end of the TSC line, we could still produce our own little collection of the characters ourselves or by replicas of them from members on this forum. However the most I feel disappointed with is Trixie, because she’s almost an identical make to Rex, you would have to get her mold spot on ti be passed off as movie accurate. That was just my only ask to Thinkway, for them to produce a TSC Trixie.
In my opinion, Chuckles, Zurg & Prospector have already got pretty good film accurate counterparts out there (i.e: Japanese Pete, Thinkways old Zurg - I’m thinking of adding a bigger bottom if I buy this version so it’s the correct height, there’s just something I like about the fact that this Zurg has a working ion blaster and his eyes and mouth come alight like in the movie!)
Chuckles can be crafted quite easily. But Trixie’s a toughy because she would have to be made entirely out of one material and have a likeness to her of Toy Story Collection Rex to be specific to the movie. And I’m stumped on how to make her 
It’s a shame that there will be no more “Toy Story Collection” figures (at least not until “Toy Story 4” or some kind of regular “Toy Story” television series).
I’m most disappointed that we won’t be getting at least a semi-accurate Trixie. I like the plush Disney Store Trixie that Slink kindly procured for me, but it’s not just out of scale, but it’s also the completely wrong material (fabric instead of plastic). I keep thinking about purchasing one of the Dinosaur Train “Tank” figures since it “kind of” looks like Trixie (blue, triceratops) and “kind of” matches Rex (quasi-animated look as opposed to “realistic”).
I’m also disappointed that there won’t be a TSC Stinky Pete the Prospector or Zurg. But, I consider myself pretty lucky to have the small “Beanie Baby” version of Stinky Pete and the Room Guard Zurg which is more than lots of other people. I’ll just continue scouring Ebay for the Japanese Stinky Pete and Bo Peep (which I’m also missing).
I guess there is always the chance that Mattel or Disney Store may make some more figures. They did make a Chuckles, even if it is a 6" scale plastic action figure instead of a larger, plush toy. I would be happy with a plastic moulded “piggy bank” version of Trixie as long as it was of a reasonable size.
The problem I have is that I hate to see people deluding themselves which then inturn is picked up on by new collectors who think that there will be a wave 4 and new figures. I’m all for “wouldn’t it be nice if Thinkway made…” threads but when I see people saying “I think that there is a chance that x or y will get made by Thinkway…” I just think “aarrgghhh, it’s not going to happen and all you’re doing is giving false hope to those new to the hobby” and as for using this thread to see peoples custom toys…there is a thread for that already and an amazing one it is too. If people want to carry on you’re right more power to them, as long as there is an element of rationalisation that it’s really just wishful thinking. As I’ve said all along, I hope I’m wrong
Love the idea for a “piggy” bank Trixie, now that is something that I could see being made…very minimal tooling costs compared to a TSC toy…great idea!!
^^ Don’t get me wrong, I would still love for another TSC characters but I don’t really see it happening because when Thinkway don’t get people interested in their toys, they stop selling them as quick as a flash - which is only normal - no matter how important the characters is. I love what they’ve given us anyway. But the only thing I’m hoping for is companies like Mattel or Disney to produce characters that are the right scale, don’t care how they look because that can be altered, just the right scale will do me just fine. But to be honest I know what I’m going with my collection characters that I haven’t got yet, i.e: Zurg, pete, Mrs. P etc.

Received my Rex today!!! Jaws a little bit broken but I’m going to fill it in with clay and he’ll be as giid as new! I’m soooooo happy

^^ Off of eBay, I was very lucky because he went on to ebay late on Friday night and bought him early on Saturday morning. I made an offer to the seller and I eventually paid £50 for him.
