Totoro arrived today from Japan! He is pure awesome as well. Super good quality. I ordered the one from Otaku.com on Monday and he got here today. Not bad. I thought I paid a lot for him at $69, but on his tag his price is listed at 4800 Yen ($60 US). So only $9 markup which is fine by me.

I have been wanting to make one myself for a while now but I’m not quite sure how to do it.
I was thinking of cutting a very tiny circle out of white sticker paper, drawing a green + on it and sticking it on. I think that would work, right? I don’t want to resort to painting it on like I think Wampar did…
That’s a good price and looks to be similar. The tag on mine says “Made In Japan”, not China though so that may be a Chinese knock off. I’ll stick with mine.

LOL. Japan is NOT a radioactive wasteland. I was there very shortly after the disaster and everything was A-OK in most regions of Japan.

I would suggest probably cutting the gun or binoculars, can’t remember which one you cut! Then print of a document on word of the little green cross with the circle. Cut and then stick that on his helmet
I read somewhere that radiation out lives generations and that it was found in Japan’s drinking water. I’m very much like my avatar I worry about these things.

To be fair, the medic soldier is fairly on-topic, as it’s talking about modifying a toy of Thinkway’s Toy Story Collection. I agree with you, however, that topics like Totoro are off-topic. It doesn’t bother me too much personally because I check both threads, but yes, we should try to distinguish which thread makes more sense to post in.

On a lighter note lol I am missing just 5 more for the collection. man oh man. I am missing Dolly, Buttercup, Rex (

^ All I need is Buttercup,Dolly,RC & Rex. Buttercup and Dolly I can get next month but Rex and RC are to expensive and very hard to find at a reasonable price I also forgot I need Utility Belt Buzz but Thinkway stopped making him so I won’t get my hopes up.
If you’re from CA I know someone selling a Toy Story Collection Rex for $250, new of course.
