Thinkway's Toy Story Collection

^ First of all you have to have proof of purchase, then a legitimate reason. Thinkway is doing a great job in being accommodating to our needs we don’t want to take advantage of that.

Thats true. also, i heard there is a way to replace buzz’s stickers? if they peel, etc.
Anyway to replace that?

Yea my Buzz had peeling stickers I emailed them and they sent me a sticker sheet. Every time I’ve emailed them they never asked for proof of purchase but I guess it’s because I only asked for cheap items like certificates and stickers. Either way no one should take advantage of them and ask for items unless they need them.

Okay. Cuase my Buzz’s stickers are starting to peel, and I need those stickers to replace them.
How and where do you email them.

Yes. I ordered some because my pegs where way too fat and some of the parts couldn’t fit in , so I contacted them and they sent them to me, didn’t need to show them my receipt or nothing, they’re a lifesaver like that!!!

Anyone think Thinkway would be willing to send me replacement front torso piece for Buzz? It has this weird glob of paint. It was actually there when I first bought it but it was so subtle it didn’t bother me too much. I thought it was just dirt for a while in fact. but its hard to describe, it has a soft feel to it, like a glob of not quite dry paint. I tried to rub it off a while back and it started to reveal the underlying coat so I just left it. but its gotten worse and now I find it distracting. Maybe I’ll get a pic of it up soon. Im probably making it sound worse than it is, because some people might not even notice, but you all know how nitpicky I am. heh

I actually considered waiting until I could buy a Utility Belt Buzz and swap the chest piece (since I care more about the original buzz anyway) but maybe I should just go through Thinkway.

Do they charge for pieces these days? I know they used to give things out for free, but I cant expect them to do that every time.

You should be able to get a replacement free of charge. By the way Good luck on Utility Belt Buzz Thinkway stopped making him and now he is impossible to find my Wal-Mart had a whole Wall full of them for 35 bucks last year and I passed it up I regret it everyday.

That’s kinda why that plan fell through. Though its not just belt buzz that’s rare here, the entire collection has been gone from my local stores for a while. If I bought one it would have to be online at a higher price, and I’d have to take my chances that I ended up with one with a good paint job and such.

How do you contact thinkway anyway?
I tried clikcing the “CONTACT” section on the thinkway website, but it doesnt work.

When I bought my Utility Belt Buzz they had a ton of regular Buzz but only three of the Utility Belt. So I bought the best looking one thinking I would later be able to get the regular one. I haven’t seen a Buzz in a long time. In my area we have a lot of Woody, Jessie, and Bullseye and that’s it.

Oh, and I just ordered the Ultimate Toy Story Collection Blu-Rays and they came in today. There’s a nice piece featuring the owner of Thinkway and how they landed the Toy Story line.

Anyone here still looking for a Toy Story Collection Rex the Roarr’n Dinosaur?

Yes, practically everyone lol

I have an extra one MIB. PM me

Is there a visual difference between the TSC version of Rex and the non-TSC/non-electronic version by Thinkway?

I stopped by a Toys R Us that I haven’t been to in over a year and noticed they stocked up on TSC items. They had regular Buzz (I finally bought one!), Woody, Jessie, Lotso, Bullseye, and Mr. Potatoe Head (I finally bought one!).

Yes it’s notably larger, made of a different material not plastic like the cheaper one and it talks! Plus it’s certified and the most accurate one ever.

If someone has both versions and can post a side-by-side that would be cool. Or if it’s already been done the link.

Just quoting this to pull it forward from page 232 of this very thread.
As you can see the TSC Rex is WAY bigger than the non-TSC version. WAAAY Bigger.

Wow…thanks for posting that…kinda. :frowning: I was happy with my non-TSC until now. :frowning: That’s a big difference in size.

i know what you mean kd lol i was thinking the same thing till i seen that side by side

Just noticed that Toys R Us (US) has restocked their online store. They have Woody ($49), Buzz ($49), Losto ($54), Bullseye ($54), Soldiers ($16), and Mr. Potato Head ($34)
