Well, thx to their effort on securing this toys none of them has been reported stolen
Not true, werent there reports of people swapping out either the TSC or the interactive dolls for the cheap 30 dollar ones? I seem to remember that but i could be wrong
It also makes sense to, on the exposed toys like Buttercup and Rex, tie them down tightly from a shipping point of view - the boxes tend to get jumbled and tossed around a lot in transit and when they’re actually put on the shelves, so you don’t want them to just fall out of their boxes.

^Very cool Rex! I love that they finally got one with an articulated jaw! Not that I’m planning on replacing my Rex (even if he’s kinda small compared to the TSC version)… “I just can’t take that kind of rejection!”. Now… could we get a Trixie, DisneyStore? I mean, it appears that this Rex is the same height as mine, so she’d actually be on-scale! Just have to wait and see, I guess…
I want to get a Bo Peep MIB but I don’t want to overspend. What is a fair price to pay for her these days?
130-150.
Thanks
np welcome to the forum btw
I’ll stick with my TSC Rex.
Hey everyone!
I know there are varients on the boxes, i believe the earlier toys have clouds on the TSC logo and the later releases have just a plain white background. My question is, are the toys inside any different to each other?
thanks all
No, the toys are the same. The only variant item in the entire collection is there were 2 different lotso certificates(an angry one and a smiling one). And of course Belt Buzz, but thats not really a variant.
While I don’t think it necessarily means that we are going to be getting new figures quite yet, I did happen to notice something very interesting at my local ToysRUs tonight. I was looking at the Toy Story section, and they still have plenty of Buzz, Woody, Jessie, and a few Bullseyes, but the Woody’s that they had were different. They had recently sold through all of the Woody’s that they had with the white logo about 2 weeks ago, and I was sad because I figured that they wouldn’t be getting any more in.
Well, when I was there tonight, they had about 5 of them on the shelf, but they all had this new gold starry logo that said “Toy Story Signature Collection” on it. Now I already have Woody, but I’ve been looking at getting another to keep in the box, as well as some of the others, for when I have kids, and this new logo looks really spiffy and makes the item seem a little higher end to me, but cosmetics aside, that means 2 things. One, they’re still shipping items from the TSC line to stores when replenishment orders are placed, and two, they have updated not only the logo, but the line name as well, so it could be an indication that they are looking at keeping the line fresh with the possibility of new additions.
The only online evidence I can find of this new packaging is this auction right here:
ebay.com/itm/BUCKET-O-SOLDIE … 1263wt_732
I didn’t check the Bucket at TRU to see if it was the new logo, so I’m not sure how widespread this is yet, but it’s definitely an interesting new development to stimulate some discussion on this wonderful line of toys.
^^Interesting. I wonder if when w’ve been told the Toy Story Collection line is over, they say that because the lines name has changed? Time will tell I guess. Also, TSC Buttercup, Dolly and Pricklepants have been clearanced on the website. They just had to wait until I bought them before they could do that lol
I noticed that the lesser versions of the characters at my TRU had new packaging…small rex, woody, etc
Maybe they’ll just change up the packaging every few years. Don’t think it means more toys, but it could be
Wow, this could be huge for us. I don’t see how this couldn’t mean they plan add to it. Maybe they thought “toy story collection” was too vague. because it can have different meanings depending on the context. Someone can talk about their “toy story collection” and not even have a single item from the line. This new name makes its clearer that your talking about a specific line. And what other reason would you have to make that distinction unless you planned to promote it and add to it?
I dunno, I could be way off here.
This sounds like good news, I’m excited now.
It would be awesome if true. Wouldn’t be surprised if they straight up lied about zurg. But I really doubt it…They had the blue logo for a while, then had the white toy story 3 logo…i think they’re just changing things up
Well, the logo was the same except the background went from clouds to white. They changed the shape, color and name this time. It could mean nothing, but im leaning towards it meaning something, even if its small.
Hopefully those who didn’t purchase UB Buzz or Rex can now afford it at retail market value instead of eBay prices.
