I wonder how that will effect belt buzz and rex since thinkway said they ha stopped making those 2
Guys look what I found UB Buzz with that signature collection logo. It seems to me Thinkway lies NOT because it wants to but perhaps it’s contractually obligated to not reveal a new toy line in order to not effect what products are currently in the market. I need UB Buzz so I’m going to check my toyrus tomorrow morning.

Now I can buy UBB at a reasonable price. Of course I can’t really afford it now even at a reasonable price but hopefully it sticks around at least through the holidays so I can finally pick it up.
My only gripe is the box won’t match the others with the name change, but I’ll live.
That’s awesome! That’s really exciting to me to see that they are producing another run of the UB Buzz toys, I was really disappointed that so many people didn’t get the chance to get him before, as I know how much it bugs me when I get a collection and can only complete it just a smidgeon before 100%.
Man, I haven’t been this excited about something in a long time, I really hope this doesn’t end up being nothing, because that’s what I thought it would be when I saw it yesterday, but now that we’ve got those pics of the UB Buzz with the logo, that means they aren’t just shipping old product in new boxes. Hopefully over the next few weeks we can get some more information on this stuff.
I just recently got a regular Buzz with the new Signature Collection logo. I REALLY Hope that they come out with Rex!!

Same here. I ordered the three of them from the Disney Store less than two weeks ago. I emailed them last night asking if I could get a refund or store credit and they were kind enough to give me a $35 gift card. The email response I got stated it would take 3-5 business days for me to receive it.

I think this is the 2nd gen of TSC. Same with the PS3 games, they first release the black label then later on release the “the greatest hits” with much cheaper price, i mean they are both same game but just different colors, front cover etc. but for me i still prefer The original first gen releases. But now like toystory21 says sellers on ebay are totally taking advantage on the prices. So, for what i think and advice to you guys who still doesnt have this awesome belt buzz buy it before someone else does coz i think with the same buzz and same certificate, man, to hell with the box just trow it away and nobody could tell the difference of the tsc belt buzz and signature series belt buzz lol. I mean for me its more important the toy it self rather than the box im just saying
Usually when companies rename a line o merchandise, it correlates with somethin, like a new film or they want to add to it. I don’t see why theyd do it just because they felt like it sinc just renaming it really doesnt do much for them.
Dunno, coz i am confuse as well, coz like i said when it comes to ps3 games they are making same game but different logo and changing color of the case etc. so in this case of the toys same toy same certificate but different logo on the box

I’d like to add it to my collection. And it would be great to see some new characters/toys in the “Signature Collection”.
Maybe they’re planning on moving all of the speaking/deluxe toys into the ‘signature collection’, like Mr. Potato Head, Woody, Buzz, Rex, etc., bumping Chunk, Twitch and Sparks into the ‘regular’ collection line and releasing some new, cheaper toys?
Having a cheaper, easier-to-market collection alongside their deluxe replicas would open the floodgates for all sorts of characters we didn’t think would be justifiable as TSC… Big Baby, Stretch, Bo Peep and maybe even a film-accurate set of the Potato Heads.
Have UB Buzz but have been looking to get a box… this is great news. It means that Thinkway is keeping the TSC alive even if they’re not adding any new toys.
That would work if they weren’t the same price, but it almost would seem backwards to me to rename a product line that has been pretty much proclaimed dead by its producer to give it a name that makes it feel more prestigious, unless they had some plans on continuing it and keeping it alive. The other part that is currently the oddball piece of information is that if it was only going to be something new and flashy to get people to notice it again, why would they start another run of the Utility Belt Buzz when they’ve made a point to tell all of us in our emails to them that he was specifically produced in 2010 and has since been discontinued? No hostility intended, simply observations I’ve had myself in thinking about this new development.

Part of the whole excitement for me about these toys was the boxes themselves, and they’re still all stacked in my closet, I consider them just as much a part of the $50 investment per character as the toy is, but that’s just me.
I think this would ultimately be their best bet moving forward, as long as they don’t cut corners. They should continue to use the movie-inspired packaging, because I would hate to have plain generic boxes when they could do very cool ones that would fit in with the rest of the line, and they need to be properly scaled in comparison to the deluxe figures too, not reduced in size because they aren’t in the “Signature Collection”.
Yeah there are a number of toys that baffled me as to why they weren’t TSC from the start. All you would need to do is add in the COA pretty much, and if their feeling generous more appropriate box designs.
Thank you for your comment. for me i was just saying that if that’s going to be a problem for others like the logo of TSC and logo Signature Series they can just either ignore and yes Trow the box coz LIKE I SAID they are just same toys with same certificate, maybe for you, you have an incredible huge house or storage to store those boxes but unlike for others such as my self who don’t have much space like you do i much prefer to trow the boxes away but i haven’t done it yet but maybe in the future.but remember its just my opinion and NO im not crazy
For all of you that want a movie accurate Bo would you want her with the whole Lamp? she is part of the lamp not really a toy, even though Andy used her all the time lol what you all think?
I wouldnt mind having some more movie accurate toys with out electronics. Which ones idk really but Id like to see some!
