It might just be a bit stuck down with paint. New figures are often like that.
So, to anybody who has Rex, would you say he’s worth buying?

I know this isnt from the Toy Story collection but look at this, thisi s one of the weirdest Toy Story figures I have ever seen. cgi.ebay.com/TOY-STORY-2-Woody-F … 5639fcd1da I used to have one of these and wondered what the heck it was supposed to be. I always thought it was “space woody”
I got Buzz, Woody, RC, Aliens and Rex for my 2 sons at xmas and Rex by far is my favourite, shame about the jaw articulation but to look at i think his fantastic
Cool, I might pick him up when I’m feeling rich. How would you rate the aliens?
I have that Woody and that is the Water Patrol Woody. I have the space one and it’s just a different color.
Now trust me, I wasn’t complaining about the Green Aliens. In fact, I think they display incredibly well together, and even look fun to play with. It’s simply the cost. I don’t feel comfortable on paying $30 for Aliens that don’t do anything.
Trust me, if I ever see the aliens on clearance or online for cheap, I WILL BUY THEM.

Wow, so do I!
apparently they also made a silver one.

Like I said in my post the silver one was the space one. I think we should get back on topic.
Yeah, we should. anyone find it strange they would make RC over slinky dog or Ham? dosnt it seem they played much bigger rolls?

Yeah, it is sort of strange, but I think they chose RC over Hamm/Slinky because the character has a lot of features as a toy shown in the movie, so they might have thought an almost exact replica of him was better. Although, they should still make Hamm and Slinky!
They should start just making scale figures as oppose to the full out toy story collection. I dont need electronics inside Ham or slinky. I just need a movie sized ham and a slinky dog without string coming out of his head… at least they made Mr. P
i see what you mean. Hamm and slinky are main charcaters but i thnink RC just made a flat out cooler toy. hes deffinetly one of the better ones in my opinion. If you ask me having Rc in the first wave was kind of a stimulation startegy to show people how good the toys could be. but what do i know

theres no rule that says toys in the TSC line have to have extra features, as we’ve seen in the army men and aliens. yes, they like to add electronics if they feel it’ll increase its persieved value, but I doubt they would feel obligated to do it all the time.
though it is kind of hard to market a piggy bank as a must have toy. its not even really a toy, just a glorified money jar. maybe if they turned it into a coin rolling device (you know, those things that sort coins and puts them into rolls), but it still wouldnt be a toy.
As for slink, for whatever reason they just seem satisfied with the current out thats out.
I think that the only real feature Hamm should have would be a voice box maybe something activated when you drop money in him or if you twist/pull his tail like Rex .
It’s weird even thought I love my Buzz and Woody I wasn’t most exceited about them as I’ve had another version of them for years. For me it is all out the smaller characters such as Rex and Hamm that I never had when I was younger! Not that I was ever young enough to have them as toys I was 12 when the first movie came out. It has always been about cool collectables for me!
Yeah, I know what you mean. I was really exited for Potato head because I always hated how the old one looked. also, in all honesty I was more exited for a new woody becausse the hasbro buzz that came out in 2001 looked pretty good and had a full wing span. I think its longer then the collection one. but all the Woody figures we’ve had havent been too great ebfore this one.
yea maybe its just me but i think the electronics not really ruined potato head but kind of messed him up. dont get me wrong im definetly going to buy him bc he looks awespme, but i think without all of his features they may have had more room to make him look more exact. ( 2 eyes, no legs, etc.) Id be perfectly satisfied with one that was the exact replica and didnt have any features as opposed to the one they have now.
I just sent an email to Thinkway’s customer service department regarding Hamm and to a lesser extent, Mrs. Potato Head. I’ll report back here with my findings.
Nice! im wondering what the Ham on the table in that picture was… looked in scale.
They’ll just tell you what we’ve already been told.
“we currently have no plans to make Hamm or mrs. potatohead”.
