Thinkway was actually kind enough to send me not one, but two replacement neck clamps for the stand once I told them my story (I thought I accidently broke it when it left indents). The new ones are a little bit better, but don’t solve the problem completely. Still, some A+ costumer service on Thinkway’s part.

My Woody now has a bunch of scratches and dings in his head because of his fall, but I don’t think it would be fair to ask for a replacement. At least it’s hidden by his hat.

I finally just got my Buzz in the mail tonight. I haven’t been able to take him out of his package yet, but looking inside, the paint on the purple part of his head seems kind of off. It’s more magenta than the dark purple it appears to be in pictures. Has anyone else seen any variations in the paint colors? He’s in version 1 of the box, so I got an early model.

And if length is the issue just trim it down. You have plenty of unnecessary footage there, and 10 mins for a part 1 is on the long side anyway.

Edit: So anyway, I got a response from Jenny, she says I can still send mine back for replacement. planning to finally do that this week.

I need HELP. None of my local shops sell Rex, here in Ireland. I can get Woody, Buzz, Potato Head,RC and the Army Men but not Rex or the Aliens.

Buying online is very expensive… the only one I’ve seen is £99. Is anyone here living in Ireland?

Also Buzz is FANTASTIC. I only wish that his helmet could do that ‘whooosh’ thing.

Alright, I’ve finally decided to write “Andy” on Woody’s boot. (Not too big a decision, as my name is Andrew). I know excactly how to write it, with the backwards letters and all ([url]http://bohemiancinema.com/assets/images/articles/learn-from-toys/screengrab_Andy.jpg[/url]), but which boot is it on: his right or his left? Also, should I use sharpie or what?Thanks.

 Also, this is an EXTREMELY personal complaint, but I like the old TSC logo, with the Andy's Room clouds, 100 times better than the stupid white logo. It makes it look more colorful.

Yes, in fact Tyler Hasslet says he plans to do just that.

His right foot. at least in toy story 2. and one thing to consider before you write it, is that in TS2 its written differently. He has i one way before it gets painted over, with the A starting at the toes, but when he scrapes off the paint, the A starts from the heal. Its your choice which way you want to write it I guess, because their both equally accurate thanks to this flub on pixar’s part. I think there are more shots of it going the first way, but I’m not sure.

As for what to use, I tried crayon but its hard to write on that glossy surface. if you do enough passes it eventually sticks, but its still kinda odd looking. certainly not like it looks in the movies.

you can try Sharpie if you want, even though they didn’t use that in the movie. if you mess up, a quick tip is to use peanut butter to safely remove it.

Thanks a bunch Kyle :smiley: I decided to go toe to heels. I like him the way Andy made him. Woody is my only TSC toy so far, and after much consideration, I think I’m gonna get Lotso next. I just love teddy bears, IDK why :slight_smile:
