Well, I got Buzz recently, and like everyone has been saying, he is amazing. There’s really nothing more that I could ask for in a Buzz figure that would be feasible. Great sculpt, fantastic electronic features, the actual film voice, what more could you ask for?
I’ve bought the aliens, but haven’t taken them out of the packaging yet. I’ll get around to it soon, with any luck.
Hi everybody. New to the site and im a toy story fanatic. I just finished my three month long expedition through my spider infested garage to find my old 2001 buzz, my hatless woody, and my matel Jessie. I bought the TSC Buzz and im saving up to buy Woody and the round up gang. so far i have only $30 and I have a question. Do you have to send in your toy to get a replacement?
My local TRU had the new TSC Mr. Potato Head, 49.99! I was hesitant to spend that much on him but I did! He’s staying in the box too! The cashier there did a double take on the 49.99 for a potato head! LOL…

I’ve got a solution that can please all of us; how about you don’t buy it? This is a forum for Toy Story fans and all, so don’t be surprised if some of us would pay a little bit more for a higher-quality toy. You have a right to your own opinion, but please don’t treat it like it’s a fact.
Anyways, I think they could’ve done a much better job on Woody’s stand. Why? Well, he always looked a little uneven on it, but today, I came home to find that he fell off the shelf he was on. Plus, the clamp puts holes in his neck as well. Why can’t they have a clamp that goes under his arms like Al had him?

I don’t have the TSC version, but the regular one. But judging by what I can tell, wouldn’t his head droop over if he was on Al’s holster?
How? His neck has no movement a all. One if these days I plan to buy a proper stand for him. Even thought about attempting to fashion one out of a coat hanger.
I noticed as well that the enclosed stand was putting an indent on my Woody Figure. I ended up taking the stand off and hoped that the plastic indent would rebound, which it did do. Looks like new now.
I bought a metal wire doll display stand, the metal base with the wire clamp. I purchased multiple 8 inch black wire stands. I clamped the wires into the belt area, so that on display, you do not see a ugly metal c clamp around the figure. The figure is balanced and built well enough that it stays help in an upright position with the clamp only around the waist area. I believe that it is the best way to display the figure as well not damage it on the long term. It is unfortunate that the enclosed ones do damage the figures neck if left in place.
I noticed that they have the same type of stand system for the Jesse figure, so it would pay to pick up a couple of these if you are serious about the collecting / display factor with these pieces.
Im going to try and get my replacement Woody here soon. I kept puting it off for whatever reason (really it was lack of money to ship the thing, yes Im that broke) but its been so long since I was told to send it that Im wondering if they’ll still take me up on the offer to replace it. I emailed Jenny to make sure its still okay for me to send.
But yeah, if/when I do get a new Woody, I dont think I’ll put him in his included stand anymore. That thing is just horrible, both asthetically and functionally. Im going to avoid geting those dents this time.
Tripoli, have you posted pics on him on his new stand? I’d like to see how it looks.
